Their schedule is pretty open, so finding an appointment time was never an issue for me. But be prepared to pay a premium for similar services compared to other vets in the area. My dog had trouble defecating due to toy fragments. After paying $600+ for inconclusive X-rays, prescription dog food, and a doctors visit with a $1000+ surgery mentioned as a possibility, another medical professional told me to feed him papayas from the grocery store ($4), which actually worked. Also, they wanted to give my dog sedatives/medications for simple vaccinations (~$36 + $180) and wanted to reschedule on another day (I took off work for the first appointment) when a simple muzzle sufficed at another vet clinic. In conclusion, if you dont mind paying higher costs for sub-standard care, schedule your next appointment with Jefferson Road.

Jefferson Road Animal Hospital is the most caring, detail oriented place. We see Dr. Swart and he is amazing!! All the staff remembers your pets from year to year, they care about the health and wellbeing of your animals on a genuine level that can be hard to come by these days. There cant be a price put on the health and safety of your pets, and Jefferson Road will always be home for my fur babies medical needs.

A friend uses this place. Ive heard they are a friendly and caring place, but after I saw the bill my friend received I was astonished. They are extremely overpriced. I called my vet and did a side by side comparison of the bill my friend received and going to my vet would have saved my friend 250 dollars on the 600 dollar bill they received at this place.

Went here for the first time just a couple of weeks ago. Wont lie, only went here because they were the only ones that would treat a goat. They were absolutely wonderful. Spent as much with me as needed, answered all my questions and took great care of my goat. Was very happy and satisfied with my visit. Promise I will be back.

Dr. Katie Rigsby, and JRAH staff, helped us send our beloved 16 year old Reggie off into the sunset. It was one of the most difficult things Ive ever experienced, but he didnt suffer at all. Now we know he will never suffer again! They were all very caring and thoughtful, during this tough time!
