I had my first cleaning and x-ray with this dentist and it went well. The doctor explained that one of my teeth looked like the enamel was wearing, and that I may want to get a filling. I was under the impression we would look at it at my next cleaning. Six months later I was confirming my cleaning appointment and the lady at the dentists office said I was scheduled for two fillings and a cleaning. I told her that I would like to get it checked and make sure I need the fillings. So the day of my appointment, which was my second and last visit, one of the dental techs brought me back to the room to have two fillings done FIRST. I explained to her that I would like to make sure that I actually need the fillings, and she went and told the doctor. After I got to the cleaning room, the doctor looked at my teeth and said that I had no signs of decay, but he still wanted to fill an area that just really looked shadowy on the x-ray.. from six months ago. He then began to get a little irritated that I didnt want the filling, then he left and I got my cleaning. I dont know if what he proposed is normal preventative dental care or not, but his behavior was unprofessional. My family and I will take our business elsewhere.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Ellis. When I needed to have my wisdom teeth extracted I had no idea what to expect, but the thought of having 4 teeth pulled in one visit made me nervous. Dr. Ellis and his team could not have made me feel more comfortable. I had no complications, which I attribute to an extremely professional and knowledge dentist. Even though I live in Nashville and its a bit of drive, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I drive WAY out of my way to go here. I first started going here when I lived in Springfield, back around 2004. I now drive here from Ashland City whenever I need work done. Hes always done what I said I needed, no more, no less.
