I have been going to the dentist for almost 50 years. Worse experience ever with a Dental Hygienist. Dr. Underwood had an emergency and was not there. I never saw Dr. Newman during my visit...just the hygienist. Which has never happened in all my years going to a dentist. A doctor always comes in and checks on the patient. Maybe if the young lady took the time to share since Dr. Underwood was not there I would not have a doctor checking on her work. This office demands a 24 hour cancellation or you are charged a fee....I should have had the same courtesy to cancel if no doctor was checking on my X-rays or cleaning. The hygienist would be better off in a surgery room where she did not have to interact with patients. I would never allow her in my mouth again...she moved so fast I dont even know her name. Again, worst experience in my life at a dentist office. I have been going to Dr. Underwoods all office for years. Very friendly at his old location. Dr. Underwood still has Candy and she was still very professional and friendly. It was disappointing to not have this office working towards helping our environment. I was ready to wipe my mouth with a paper towel and at that point the hygienist said, "no dont do that, let me get you something better." She returned with a warm wet towel. I asked where should I leave the towel...she said, "oh just throw it away." Im extremely disappointed in this office not supporting our environment. So not only do you throw the towel away, it is also packaged in paper that is throw out. Very disappointing. I took the towel with me so it can be reused. TVs in the office. I dont care what station a TV is on but to have a political news station on in the lobby is unprofessional. Find a station that is neutral to all or how about NO Television. I would give zero stars if I could.

After experiencing extremely painful sessions with a Military dentist during my enlistment in the Air Force, I had been apprehensive about visiting any dentist. It had been 8 years since I had been to a dentist so I knew if I went back it would be painful. However, this was not the case. The receptionist, Kristin, was helpful in answering my many questions. Dr. Newman gave me a thorough exam and not only showed me what I need to do to improve my overall oral health but is helping make my fillings affordable. Michelle, my hygienist was amazing. If there was anyone with a more challenging job, I have never met them. I gave her a run for her money and she did a great (painless) job of cleaning my teeth. I plan on bringing my wife and our two girls to Dr. Newman in the very near future.

Ive been putting off going to the dentist for a long time now for various reasons but after some on-line research, I decided to give CN a try. Im glad I did. I judge most places first on rather or not they are polite and accommodating to my family and me. We were greeted very nicely and were seen promptly. Dentist visits make me fidgety and nervous so, I was happy that they just got right to business. I hope all my visits go as smoothly and I hope they continue to provide such polite service. Thanks staff at CN for being professional, knowledgeable and so nice to us. It means a lot.

Dr Newman and his team are terrific. Dr Newman is extremely experienced and skilled, a true professional at his craft. My teeth have never looked better. Also,I cant say enough good things about everyone one else that works with him. From the smile and good morning when you walk in the door to the wonderful dental assistants and hygienists that are there, the experience is terrific. His new office is a great environment too, with huge windows in every working room. As a child, I was terrified of my dentist, now I look forward to going to him.

Dr. Newman and his staff are wonderful. I always get a "how is your day?" when I walk in and they greet you with a smile and the whole establishment is professional. Dr. Newman treats me with respect and I like that about him. I have been to many other dentists and he blows them out of the water. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Newman and his staff. You will feel like family when you walk in the door.

Have come to Tom Underwood for years and have sent multiple referrals...that speaks for itself! Candy is perfect receptionist/front person! She is efficient, personable, accommodating, and a great problem-solver! Whenever I have had an appointment, I have never had to wait--they were ready and waiting for me! They make me feel like their only priority. Cannot ask for more. Thank you!

I just met Doctor Newman for the first time a few days ago and I was very happy with the service. He was very nice to me upon our first meeting, and so were his fellow coworkers. My checkup was completed with no troubles and he made sure everything was alright with my teeth. A nice visit and I am returning for a second checkup with no fear or regret.

Dr. Underwood once again to the rescue -- as always in these last 30 years hes been the extraordinary custodian of my oral health. This time it was an errant upper crown that had fallen out. He was able to manipulate, coerce, and glue it back in, saving me -- we hope -- having to get a new one. Hes the best!

Excellent dentist. I get cleanings 3 times a year due to heavy buildup and I always am pleased with the pain free and professional service. This is not a "discount" dentist, I would suggest Dr. Newman to people who want fast, excellent dental care not those who are shopping for a low cost solution.

I have not been welcomed at his office. Despite the money I paid which was more than twice as much as other places the quality and result of his work was not what I expected. My teeth are still sensitive and even worse than before.
