Having used "discount eye centers" and thought that my inability to see through the entire lens clearly.. was just my eyes. Until I came upon Dr. Shanks and his friendly and educated staff! Brandon explained the difference and was able to show me the difference between my "discounted lenses" and the quality products they offer. I could see clearly though the entire viewing area of the lenses they carry there vs the "discounted lens". Remarkable difference! My eye exams are thorough and Dr. Shanks takes the time to answer my questions in detail. It is uncommon to be treated so professionally yet at the same time I feel more like family than "another patient". I will not waste another dime at another Eye Care Center when I can go to Dr. Shanks office and be treated so kindly and receive products that are truly worth more than they charge. ALL I CAN SAY IS TRULY REMARKABLE!! Dr. Shanks and his staff are phenominal! The customer service I received during my visit and after far exceeded my expectations! With the healthcare being as lucrative as it is, its so hard to find a doctor, whether it be a primary care physician, optometrist, or podiatrist who actually takes there time to answer all your questions and not consider you as another check. I didnt have to wait to long to see Dr. Shanks and I received my eyeglasses in less than a week. I was truly impressed and blessed to find such a pleasant and Christin practice!

Dr Shanks is very thorough and experienced. I have been going to an eye doctors that rushed you in and out and treated you like a number. Dr Shanks is personable and friendly. I have only been here twice but both times I havent had to wait.
