I went to LensCrafters to get a eye exam Dr. Frye was wonderful with a good sense of humor and very professional. The office staff were pleasant. I received my prescription and went to look at glasses the man working there handed me a tray to chose four frames to try on. I waited around a hour to get someone to assist me with the fitting and checking out etc. While waiting the male employee was complaining about other employees and their tardiness etc. After finishing up I was told it would be @ a hour for the glasses to be finished which was fine. I came back 1 1/2 hours later and waited 55 minutes for someone to wait on me to just hand me my glasses. Again employees( a shift change had occurred) were complaining about being short staffed and taking personal calls instead of trying to get four others and myself checked out who were just waiting on a pickup. I have never been so upset over a appointment before. I hope the company reads this and makes changes. The last thing a customer wants to hear is how your short staffed or taking personal calls about how you cant take your kids that weekend because you have plans.

This is the WORST Lenscrafters store I have ever experienced. I will NEVER use this store or possibly even Lenscrafters again. Everyone from the staff the manager had no idea what they were talking about and were rude and extremely unhelpful. I have purchased at least three (3) pairs of sunglasses and probably an equal amount of regular glasses (albeit at a different location, except for the last pair of glasses I purchased) from Lenscrafters. My customer loyalty was appreciated, except at this store. I called and asked for a quote on simple lenses (frames were purchased elsewhere), the store manager, Josh quoted me $298 - for STANDARD lenses and would not be bothered to contact my insurance company to see if I had any available benefits that could be used. However, when I contacted my optometrists office for a quote on the same lenses they quoted me $99 (without any insurance benefits). This location needs a staff overhaul. I would NOT RECOMMEND them.

Experience of picking out the frames and especially talking to the ophthalmologist who was the manager over a manager who happened to be in that store that day who gave me great advice is to what specific type of lenses I needed for the problems that I had had before with glasses was fabulous. I was told the glasses Would-be in by Friday, to day. I called to see if they were in Yet. And I spoke to a very rude girl who was bothered by me calling to find out if they were in yet when she found I hadnt received a call or a text. I told her they were supposed to be in by to day. She went to check to see and told me well it could-be a few more days. I told her that was On acceptable to be told that they Would-be in by a certain time and then be told by somebody that well it could-be a few more days. Especially considering how much they cost. It was a real snit and does not need to be in customer-service .

This doesnt deserve a 1 star took my wife to get her eye exam and new glasses and they refused to take he we provided them a NEW vision insurance and NEW number for them to call on the day of. When we got there they said they called and said she was not added which i know she is on the vision, the Hispanic lady got smart with my wife so we left. It turns out they were calling a old number. The number we provided was never called to verify.. That lady needs to read a file correctly before touching anything especially someones eyes. Walmart does a better job..

I REALLY dont like how they switched up the lab model. It used to be that every store had a lab, but now there is just one lab and every order has to be fulfilled there. But the problem with that is that a LOT of orders that are just lost in the system. Its sloppy. Im not going to try and point fingers either, but Im fairly sure this was a move to increase profit and ultimately did but decreased customer satisfaction. So its not the store, but the company as a whole.

They have quality glasses, but if you want to get good glasses for a better price (and a shorter line), go to Pearle Vision around the corner. We waited 40min both times were were there, and their selection is no better than Pearle.

Ive been going to this specific store in rivergate and Ive seen that same eye Dr for a few years. Dr Rothman. He has been the only eye dr rothem for ywars. Always fast efficient helpful and honest with great suggestions.
