I had my first eye appt with Dr. Lyon yesterday. I was able to get in quickly for an appointment which was a huge plus. I liked that the Dr. did the "before the exam room" tests. He took his time getting my prescription right by tweaking several things. He was very easy to talk to and encouraging throughout the whole appointment. The cost was VERY reasonable and I feel like I got better care and more attention from the Dr. than I got from other more expensive offices. In addition, the equipment he used was the most state of the art than I had ever experienced even at more expensive offices. His personality was warm, encouraging, informative and professional. I will be going back and taking my sons in for an exam in the future.

I highly recommend Dr. Kary Lyon for your vision and eye care. I have really poor vision, astigmatism, dry eyes, and eye allergies. Because Dr. Lyon is very thorough with his exams, he helped me see better; my dry eyes, allergies, and headaches are next to nonexistent as I study for 8+ hrs for my license in contact lenses. When I was living out of state for a few years, I saw another eye doctor, who was not as thorough. In fact, Dr. Lyon had to correct the previous docs mistake when I returned. Ive been a patient of Dr. Lyon for 15+ yrs and will continue going to him.

Ive had surgery in the past for a detached retina so finding a thorough, knowledgeable optomistrist after moving states was high priority. Dr. Lyon took time to understand my medical history, answer my questions and is really friendly too.

Dr. Lyon is great! Hes very nice and also very good at his job. My previous doctor was much more expensive and had a difficult time getting my contact prescription adjusted correctly. Doctor Lyon got it right the first time, and he was covered by my insurance!
