I was broken, hurting, and worried about losing sight in my right eye; and Dr. Garnsey "fixed" me. I recently had a severe eye injury while at a physical therapy appointment nearby his office. Last year, I moved from Cincinnati, OH to Gallatin, TN and had not yet selected an eye doctor. When the accident happened, all I could think about was, "Oh my gosh, my eye doctor of 14 years is in Cincinnati, and I havent selected a new doctor here in TN yet." Fortunately, Dr. Garnseys office was in the same building as my physical therapy office and I was taken to him immediately. The kind ladies waiting for an appointment, graciously rescheduled and allowed me to be seen right away. I was so impressed by the immediate attention and care by Dr. Garnsey and his staff. He was with me for over two hours, saw me again the following morning, and often over the next two weeks. Thanks to Dr. Garnsey, my injury has healed and my sight has been restored in that eye. The thing that impressed me the most is that I was a new patient and Dr. Garnsey treated me like I had been a loyal patient for years. In the past, I have reviewed my doctors before selecting those that had good reviews. I would generally choose a larger office with multiple doctors. However, now I will do things differently. Since I had little choice, and no time to do my reviews, I was fortunate that Hendersonville Eye Health &Vision was nearby and was an excellent choice for me. This experience has proven to me that smaller, more personal offices can give excellent care and kind attention. Thank you Dr. Garnsey and your kind staff for taking such good care of me. Diane

My husband and I went to Hendersonville Eye Heath and Vision and were more than pleased with our experience! Dr. Garnsey was compassionate, very knowledgeable, and spent time with both of us during the exam. He used a camera that took a picture of our retinas, and then explained what he saw, not just looked with a blinding light and lens in our eyes, as other doctors have in the past. We both picked out new frames we liked, the selection is large and there is a great variety to choose from. The manager, (Ashley, I think her name was) was very nice and helpful in choosing and fitting ones that were right for us. They also took our insurance and we were impressed with how easy it was for us. We also ordered contacts and are amazed at how great we can see again. Thank you Hendersonville Eye Heath, Dr. Garnsey and staff!

I was referred to this clinic by Eye-Med Discount Plan. Dr. Garnseys staff called and took my information after I signed up online for an appointment. Very convenient ! The appointment went great. He is pleasant and knowledgeable Doctor. He did his exam and wrote a Rx for Computer Glasses. On the way out I was told Eye-Med no longer participated in the Eye-Med program and took my check for $190 for the exam and computer glasses. I contacted Eye-Med later that day who reported my plan discount was good at the Hendersonville Eye Health & Vision clinic. I return the next week to get my glasses and . . . . No Glasses. They are still at the lab getting "final inspection". Bottom line. If you want to pay double and wait two weeks for your glasses, this is your place. For me ? I am sticking by Wal-Mart.

We were recommended to Dr Garnsey by a family member and we have been highly pleased. Our entire family (7 members) had been patients with Judd Family Eye Care since day one of his practice many years who FORCED us to look for another doctor since we have eye insurance. Since we dont purchase contacts and eye glasses from them because their prices are outrageous they TOLD US to find a new doctor. Unbelievable. What a blessing in finding Dr Garnsey. He is more professional and equipment is much more high tech and not outdated. The staff is super friendly and caring. So happy we have a doctor that cares about our eye health and not wanting to find different patients that can make bigger profits from. Plus Dr Garnsey has great office hours, not limited days.

I had such a wonderful experience at Hendersonville Eye Health & Vision! Dr. Garnsey was so knowledgeable and explained everything to me. I was concerned about my night vision and he really worked to get my refraction perfect (he even explained what refraction is). The ladies in the front allowed me to try on dozens of pairs of glasses and helped me select just the right ones for me. They were so patient and fun to work with. They took my insurance with ease and helped me understand what my insurance covered. I will definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

Great hidden gem in Hendersonville. Small family-run practice, took our insurance which also worked at the "big box" vision stores but without the mobs of aggravating people, which means you get in, you get out, no muss no fuss. Friendly staff, a great selection of up-to-date frames, and an Optometrist who gave a thorough exam and made some very helpful vision suggestions, including a brand switch of contacts. We will definitely make this our future vision provider, thanks!

Ive had a lot of problems in the past with my contacts because of the shape of my eyes but I left the office that day with lenses that fit and that I could see out of!
