My mother was admitted to Stonecroft almost 4 years after a serious heart surgery and a few months after a lung cancer diagnosis. She was only there for approximately 6 weeks and was in and out of the hospital during her stay, but it was long enough to know that she received better care than we had experienced at another facility after her heart surgery. She was truly happy before we lost her in November of 2016, and I am not sure that would have been the case had she been at any other facility. The staff was caring and they provided many activities that she enjoyed. She made a connection with another resident and they became very close friends in such a short period of time - almost like they had known each other their entire lives. I especially want to mention a former employee of Stonecroft, Lisa Roberts, who also became Moms close friend and who was, in my opinion, the best caregiver we encountered.

The staff truly cares about the residents and treats them like family. They laugh with the residents, cry with them, hold them and protect them like their own family. The facility is beautiful. The food is great. And theres always something going on for the residents to participate in!
