This has been the single worst healthcare experience I have ever had. One day on my break I decided to go in about some trouble I was having, after a lengthy wait, I was finally called into the patient rooms. After another generous wait the doctor appeared, to who I described my symptoms. The doctor could not come to a solid conclusion and recommended to me one of three tests. I asked the doctor the natural question, "How long is the wait, and how long do these tests take?" In response, the doctor was completely dumbstruck. The doctor had no idea and seemed offended that I even asked. I insisted on an answer to my question, so the doctor proceeded to disappear for 15 minutes, after which the doctor told me how long the wait times and how long the procedures take. The other natural question that came to mind was "How much do these tests cost?" again, the doctor was completely dumbfounded and visibly annoyed at my inquiry. The doctor proceeded to disappear again for about 20 minutes. Upon the doctors return I had spent enough time sitting there to have taken any of the three tests, however my break was now over and I was unable to take any of these tests. I was left waiting in another room while the doctor "did some paperwork" for about 15 minutes until I was forced to leave rather than be late to work. And to top it all off I got a 200$ bill in the mail. I am to pay these people, who did absolutely nothing to me, and who I already paid 40 dollars upon entry to their disgusting waiting room, an additional 200 for this wretched experience? No thanks . Do not come here. Concentra is trash.

Do not go here. This place is only for physicals and job & drug testing, workers comp, not for medical purposes for the public. Over 20 years ago this was a good place. Now, The most uneducated doctor I ever met. After I was done with visit, wasnt told anything about what could be wrong. I had to ask , whats wrong? I was told , had no idea, thats it. Now I have to figure out where to go to get help. I hurt so bad I cant sleep and can barely get around. Doctor didnt even say a word. Wasted my morning and money. Receptionist not friendly , but also not rude, Nothing good nor really bad to say. First nurse was friendly, polite, and professional. 2nd nurse pretty good, nothing bad to say, and final receptionist again same as first, definitely not friendly, but also not rude. The place runs overall like a government business. Not a friendly place overall, and the most important person, the reason to go to an urgent care clinic, the doctor, seemed uneducated and not a people person. I raised from one star to two. Staff called me back following day, asking about visit. I explained lack of any help. They had the main doctor called me back that day. He worked with me over the phone, ordering test, then reviewing, and recommending a primary doctor, over two phone calls. I was happy with his concern and help. The primary doctor turned out bad, wasnt his fault, actually was told he had worked there occasionally, but did lead to a good referal, that found the right doctors to work with me. So the visiting doctors low star rating, the main doctor I spoke to a 5 stars rating.

I tried to go to the Walgreens walk in clinic on Donnelson while on travel, but Walgreens would not see me and sent me to Concentra. They were pretty nice, (and competent), but they did not accept by Blue Cross medical insurance which is the reason for four stars instead of five. I did have to wait 45 minutes to be seen, but that was because they were trying to process my insurance. However, it turns out you can pay them in advance and it was only $150.00. That is a lot of money until you need care urgently which I did. It was the standard medical history questionnaire, followed by weight, blood pressure, temperature reading. Then the nurse practitioner came in. She was polite and competent, looked over the results of my MRI, gave me advice and wrote me a prescription. As I was checking out, she sent the nurse to take a few photos of my injury and said she would send them to an orthopedic surgeon friend for his input. She called our hotel the next morning to say "cut your travel plans short, get home, and go straight to the emergency room." We did exactly as she said. Things didnt turn out to be completely grave, but I was impressed that she actually did a followup call.

I went to this location because it was late in the evening and my normal doctors office was closed. I left my insurance card at home, but had been there before so I figured they could pull my information. So, when they attempt to get my insurance information, their system says my insurance is not active. I go all the way home to get my very active insurance card and brought it back and they tell me that it still shows inactive and I would have to pay out of pocket $150. Due to the pain I was in, I decided to pay to be seen by Nurse Roslyn. We spoke for all of 5 minutes about my symptoms, she felt my neck and sent me to the ER, stating that meningitis sounded like the culprit. This sounded strange to me as I had been sick all week but only had 2 symptoms of meningitis. I go to Summit as directed and they tell me that my insurance is in fact valid and that I have sinusitis, not meningitis, which could have been treated at Concentra, where I had just spent $150 for no apparent reason! Never again will I visit and put my trust in this facility.

Today Concentra launched a new automated D.O.T. format. It simply didnt work, I asked the staff if they could call I.T., and they said no. Since I couldnt be processed, I asked if I should come back, and I was told to wait. After waiting I was informed that the paperwork could be put in manually. Next I was seated in a room for 30 minutes, then told I had to be moved to another room with a computer in it. On the way to the new room I asked if the computer in the room would work since the ones in the front were malfunctioning, I was told "I dont know weve never used it before." The problem is the program was launched and never tested before hand and only a few of the staff members even knew about it. I wasted time, and gas going out there to a unprepared staff. I was also told by the Dr. that "we have half of the physical done so we will be paid anyway." Please fix this and contact me, this job is time sensitive, and I could loose it if my paperwork is in in a timely manner.

Went on a holiday just before closing with severe pain in my leg. They were not very detailed and the doctor kept forgetting which leg I was having issues with. The people just wanted to go home, so they gave me a shot and sent me home. Called a few days later to get a note for my gym membership and got dealt with the most unhelpful staff who forgot to call me back. When I called them back they said they couldnt give a note after a whole month though it had only been 15 days(this is after they forgot to call me back) since I visited.
