I have been using Dr. Darrow as an OB and I have to say I am very disappointed. Granted I think he is knowledgeable but he is very impersonal during his visits. He is very rushed and it seems that his main focus is fitting as many patients into his schedule as possible. He doesnt take the time to listen and visit with the patient as an individual. He doesnt even stay in the room for more than 3 minutes at a time. Usually the doctor would be the one to listen for the heartbeat but its always a medical assistant who does it... and a different one every time at that. It makes me very uncomfortable. On a couple of occasions he has been rude and it seems that his favorite answer for every complaint or concern is "You must not be eating right." Surely, Dr. Darrow, there are conditions with symptoms that have nothing to do with how the mother is eating. I know that I will be researching into what his percentage of c-sections versus vaginal deliveries is, as I wouldnt want to be party to an unnecessary coercive c-section. As from having previous children with different, more caring doctors, I know it is important to have a doctor present during your delivery that you know cares and is not rude. I am actually hoping that he is not going to be the doctor on duty if I happen to go into labor on my own.

Dr Darrow was my GYN for many years and hated to leave him when my husband was transferred out of Dallas. He performed many procedures and I never had to worry about anything from pain to recovery to getting back to normal. His hand is truly guided by God and I believe He relies on Him as well. I keep hoping we get transferred back to Dallas so I can get back to him. He is the only doctor who I can indubitably say is able to put his patients wellbeing before anything else. I mean, has anyone tried getting a hold of his/her doctor after 5 pm ever? Dr Darrows office will answer. And he will call back (or his nurses) to get you squared away. Love him. Love his staff.

I absolutely love and adore Dr Darrow. Hes delivered all 3 of my children and been my obgyn for 12 years now. Yes there are times when Ive had to wait, rescheduled appts because he got called to the hospital and I was always seen by nurse staff while there as well. Thats actually how a doctors office should work. He cant do it alone. He was always there when I needed him, he had the same trained nurse for years and I love his staff. My husband even loves him. Im happy I had my last baby before he retired from OB. Now I hope I can continue to see him as a gyn.

Dr Darrow delivered my daughter in 2012. I loved him and his staff. I would recommend him and have. He now has moved offices and it seems to make it even more personable, He also has begun to bring new things there like BioTe in which I am excited to try.

Dr. Darrow delivered my three little brothers, and soon will be delivering my son =). I highly recommend him, his staff is also very kind and understanding. You always recieve excellent service!! I wouldnt go anywhere else.
