Dr. Cook has been my dentist for about 10 years. I had several before that. I agree with all the other comments about his and his teams competence, friendliness, and professionalism. More importantly, hes a really outstanding dentist. His quiet confidence is not an act; he knows his stuff. When he uses the latest technologies, he is not using you to as a guinea pig to get up the learning curve. (Been there, done that, at other dentists.) Over the years, he has done three crowns and an implant for--all excellent work. He has replaced poorly crafted crowns made by other dentists--that failed. Most of all, he is not a slave to the technology--although he knows the technology cold. Creating dental work that works for me--with my problematic bite--requires not just good technology, but craft, care, experience, and artistry too. Hes the real deal. I am sure there are cheaper dentists in Mexico or Costa Rica. I have gone to other dentists here in Austin that cost as much or more than Dr. Cook, but I have gotten results that were inferior, or didnt last. He provides a complete array of dental services, but never pushes dental work you dont really need if you dont want it. I hope I die before he retires!

I have been a patient at Austin City Dental for ~10 years now. I am extremely obsessive about my teeth and I feel as though Dr. Cook and team have helped me take very good care of them over the years. Their staff has always been friendly, easy going, and great to be around. Another fantastic thing about ACD is that I have never waited a minute past my scheduled appointment, which I appreciate very much. Kristy, my dental hygienist, is so cool and easy to talk to...I wish I could actually contribute to our conversations more vs. sitting there with my mouth wide open! And finally, Dr. Cook is chill, funny, professional, and has a calming effect on people. I was devastated when I got my first few cavities in my late 20s, but he calmed me down and walked me through how I can avoid getting them moving forward. Hes great! Every time I leave an appointment at Austin City Dental, I am reminded why Ive never gone anyplace else. I highly recommend Dr. Cook and Austin City Dental to anyone in/around the Austin area...You wont be disappointed!

I was so impressed with the care I received at Austin City Dental last week that I wanted to share it with everyone out there. I explained to Dr. Cook that I was a chicken and a crybaby and he suggested, very compassionately, that I go without the anesthesia (and the numbing injections preceding it) in order to accommodate my fear of needles and invasive procedures. I got four fillings and they were all shallow ones, so it was not a necessity and I was so grateful that he gave me the choice. The procedure was totally painless, which was hard to believe because it sounded like I was in the middle of a construction site. I walked out of there feeling like I had not been to the dentist. And an hour later I ate an orange and a piece of chocolate--having forgotten that I just had fillings--and there was no discomfort whatsoever. Having been through three previous dentists in Austin--some arrogant, some incompetent--I am so delighted to have found someone caring and top notch.

Every time Ive gone to Austin City Dental for a visit, Ive seen a different dentist. Each and every one has been awesome, attentive, caring, and kind. The receptionist always greets me kindly, keeps me informed about billing, and asks me if shed like me to set a reminder for 6-month cleanings and the like. They are also very timely and never keep me waiting. I have nothing negative to say about Austin City Dental. The facilities are beautiful (love all the full-panel windows with natural light) and the staff is incredible. Prior to finding Austin City Dental I had a huge fear of dentists due to horrible past experiences. Im happy to say that I no longer dread going to the dentist!

I have been a patient of Dr. Goldsmith before he sold his practice and retired, and I really appreciate the time and effort he spent finding someone he was willing to trust his patients with. These guys share the same ethic of patient care that Dr. Goldsmith did, and I have been very happy with the transition. They show the same quality of care, Dr.s calling personally with update information, and to check up on your progress after a complex procedure, even on the weekends. Im hoping theyre young enough and dedicated enough I wont ever have to find another dentist.

Great dentists! I havent been to a dentist in... Lets just leave it at years. I have major anxiety when even thinking about having to go to the dentist. Im glad I found this place. They were great with dealing with my anxiety and even though it was forever ago that I had my last check up, it was the least amount of pain I ever experienced at a dentist office. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist in Austin. Bob Melvin

So pleased with Dr. Cook and his team! I had a dental emergency with a cracked tooth. They got me in within 24 hours and had my tooth fixed within the hour! This was my first visit to their office and everyone was so pleasant and nice, completely professional. I am officially making Dr. Cook at Austin City Dental my go-to dentist! I have already referred two family members to their office and will plan on referring more in the future.

Austin City Dental has provided my dental care for almost ten years, and I have had nothing but excellent care and caring for that entire time. I trust Dr. Cook completely, and my dental hygienist, Kristi, is great. I would recommend this office to everyone. The location is central, parking is free and very easy (they have their own lot), and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Wait time is never excessive. Highly recommended.

I love Austin City Dental! I feel so welcome every time I come here. Everyone from front office, to the hygeinists, to the assistants and doctors are genuine and kind. They provide excellent care, and have a lovely view of the Shoal Creek greenbelt. I love that the parking is easy and they are close to all my favorite shops in Central Austin. I actually look forward to my dental appointments here!

Oh NO! Broke my front tooth off...eating corn on the cob. Next day called Austin City Dental at 8:30 AM and "Anthony" squeezed an appointment in at 10:00 AM same day. Jennifer prepped me and Dr. Cook took over. By 11:15 all was well and I and my new tooth were on our way. Thanks to all at Austin City Dental for a great job and such wonderful treatment.
