I took my two female pits to be spayed and wasnt greeted at all when I came in then had to wait a while then they made me weigh both of my dogs by my self no help while one of the ladies stood there an watched while I struggled then they presumed to make me put them in the cages by myself as well. When I came to pick up they had given my dog a rabies after I told then multiple times that she had had it an even offered to show her the record to which she declined. As far as their surgeries went it was great especially for the low income price. But it doesnt end there I took my two males to be nurtured an it was a complete disaster and dissapointment they completely butchered my babies they gave one of my dogs stitches then DIDNT EVEN TELL ME ( which have to be taken out in a week) if I wasnt a vet tech I would not have known that. (Im sure this isnt their first time doing this) when I got them they were already bleeding then they had the nerve to tell me that they were chewing on them selves, charge me for two cones then NOT EVEN PUT THEM ON. End result I guess you get what you pay for. Terrible customer service. To top it off I called them to ask about the stitches in which she tried to argue with me an tell me that there were none I sent her a pic. An she finally said ok theyre there but i dont know why Ill have to ask the vet. To this day I have not gotten a call. Never go here if you love your dogs

I took my Persian cat to have him neutered. Being new to the area I wanted a low cost alternative to the high cost quotes I received when calling various vets in the San Antonio area. You always hear about the need to spay/neuter your pet for population control. Yet, why is it the local veterinarians in SA, who should be on board with this, are charging astronomical rates for these simple procedures. The quotes I got ranged from 150.00 to 300.00 to neuter a cat - CRAZY! This place is friendly, clean and organized and I received my baby back in great shape. Take your cat or dog to Hill Country and you will end up paying LESS than half of what I got quoted and still have money left over (their rates even INCLUDE a rabies shot AND microchipping!) Use that money you saved and donate to this non-profit as they are helping to control pet population and are involved with pet adoption as well.

I rescue dogs and have taken 4 dogs there in the past 6 months and have not had one single issue with their personnel or their services. Plus they give me a great price since I rescue and spend my own money to get them vetted.

Low cost spay/neuter clinic. Efficient, safe, and high quality care. Spay/Neuter includes shots, pain meds, even a nail trim! Microchips are very reasonably priced. Very friendly and helpful staff.
