The staff has been pleasant up to this point. My daughter left upset because of one dental hygienist TAKARI WOODS. She was rude and very harsh with my 18 year old. She sprayed her in the face and eyes. My daughter tried to cover her eyes and Takari told her to move her hands. My daughter told her she sprayed her and she told her she was protecting her makeup too. Takari told her she doesnt need to wear makeup to a dentist office. She was abnormally rough when she cleaned her teeth following. My daughter was visibly upset and told the office ladies and they were very apologetic and somewhat sympathic to her. I called Smile Workshop when she got home and Takari intercepted the call and cut me off everytime I tried to speak. I asked her to give the phone to someone else sad she kept talking over me and then she said I am letting you go and hung up. She didnt say she was sorry for anything and even lied and said her assistant was there the whole time she was not. My daughter was tearing up in the seat while in TAKARIS care and she continued to treat her inhumane and myself. I went in to get all my kids records and wont be back they did nothing to try to talk me into staying. They kept their mouths shut seems they know how Takari is. I have contacted the office manager and the owner Christopher Swayden. I am doubtfully I will get a reply. Someone like Takari that acts above reproach and cannot admit any wrong doing. She is incapable of even having an apology. She is in the wrong field. If situations were different someone would lose their job... beat she wont. She doesnt need to work with children ever!!! Seems the comments of negativity are coming from a set group. Thats wrong.

Worst Experience EVER! Wish I could give them a zero! The front staff is pretty rude and they hardly greet you-but that was the least of my worries! The doctor I had, who is no longer there, drilled an undocumented hole in my tooth and when I returned to get it re-filled after only two short months, they tried to make me seem foolish and say they have no idea where that hole came from! So I had to pay to get it fixed because of THEIR mistake. Then they tried to make me pay $80 when they clearly gave me a receipt a few days earlier for $35. I had to fight for them to give me that! Also, I have braces and they saw that I did a few days before I had my work done. So, I came in and they stick me with the needle and everything, and then they tell me they cant fill my tooth because of my wires. Although, the wires were really not in the way. Regardless, could they not have told me there was an issue before they stuck me with the needle and made me loopy with gas??? I had to leave, get my wires taken off, and then come back to get stuck again! Moreover, the assistants and doctor are never on the same page. You have to remind them of EVERYTHING, from remembering to give you your laughing gas, to putting on your fluoride. Also, when they pulled my wisdom teeth, Im assuming they didnt put enough gauze in because I rushed to my front door with blood gushing from my mouth. Ive never seen anything so ridiculous. There are so many issues with this place I cant even begin to list them all.

An Absolutely Amazing Experience! This office is clean and welcoming. The staff worked as a team with a since of urgency. They were Compassionate and delivered Superb Customer/Patient Service!!! .My husband and I were treated with such kindness and care. We have had three recent appointments and each time was great. The highlight of our experience came about when we met with the office manager, Maria C. She explained our treatment plan all while offering different payment options. We care a GREAT deal about our teeth and she appeared to care just as much as we do. Upon arriving to our appointment for a general cleaning, we were greeted with a warm smile by the receptionist. We went for our X-Rays, and was then escorted to the treatment area. The hygienist, Lee, was thorough and detailed in his communication and treatment. We LOVE the gentle care and treatment that Dr.Tran administered. We inquired about teeth whitening and staff member, Rhianna made sure to explain the process. There was also a staff member who was training, EsMaria. She was paying close attention as we were being treated and kept a pleasant smile. We were so impressed with this facility that we have made appointments for our children. We would recommend Smile Workshop in Cedar Hill, Tx to the entire Family.

My dentists schedule was full so i tried the smile workshop for a regular cleaning. I came in as a new patient and was not notified that i would need special xrays that are out of pocket. Even in the waiting room you could hear how loud the giggling and talking was and wondered if they were too busy having a party while Im taking time off work to be seen. The dental assistant didnt know how to work the xray equipment and had to have help throughout the process. The girl assisting her had old dirty shoes on and very old faded scrubs - very unprofessional. An hour and half later I find out they want to do more and could not do a cleaning and sent in the financial person. Keep in mind dental chairs dont swivel. Where do these people sit to talk about financial decisions and the care plan they advised...behind me, not even beside me or face to face. I work in healthcare and would never treat a patient the way I was treated. I requested the xrays and went back to my old dentist.

First of all, let me start off and state how I love the dentist, hygienist, and dental assistant staff. They are absolutely wonderful and kind. Now one of the office staff and surprisingly so-called "manager", Candace, is EXTREMELY rude. She unfortunately does not have any bed side manners. She talks down to you and belittles you when it comes to any billing questions. I called her today after I had my appointment yesterday and mentioned to her how I did not like the tone she was having with me and how there was a miscommunication among her staff. Do you even think she apologized? All she kept saying was "I understand". How about an apology? I have referred several of my co-workers to your office because the dentist and staff are absolutely wonderful! However, if you have people in your office greeting potential and current patients with a rude manner, it leaves a bitter experience at your office. Hopefully you can find somebody who has respect for all of the patients.

I did not have a good experience here. For my first appointment, I took off from work and was told that it would take 2 hours to do the work and the doctor had a child there with more hours of work to be done so I had to reschedule. I did. I came back and had what I assumed to be a hygienist fitting my tooth for a temporary cap, she seemed as if she did not know how to do it. She had another hygienist come in twice to help her and it was still Ill firting. I finally lied and said it was fine. I called once to check on it and received a nasty "we would have called you if it came in" reply. Then I received a phone message saying I was due for an appointment and if I did not call to cancel within the alloted time I would be charged a fee. I had not set an appointment because I had not been informed that the cap had come in. I called and explained and they rescheduled it. I had waited about 3 weeks. The dentist was good and the final cap is good but the rest was very bad.
