This was the first time I have visited this place. I had an appointment this morning at 8 am. I was the first person there at 7:50. I watched 3 people get called back before me. Its 8:20 and I finally ask the receptionist what is going on? They were having difficulty with my paperwork, which is fine. But someone could have communicated that to me, especially if I have been waiting for 30 minutes. I should have left then. I go to the dentist every 6 months. I went 6 months ago, to a dentist I have been seeing for 18 years. My teeth were fine, no cavities, no need for any upcoming dental work. I have only had a cavity once before and it was ten years ago. I went into MINT with no problems to report. They take a look at my teeth and tell me I have 3 cavities and that my sealants are broken. They did not show me my X-rays of these alleged "Cavities" (which i realized later). Then the payment guy (David the "finance personnel") comes up telling me my payment options. Tells me "your insurance will cover this much, if you get a filling today, ill deduct this much from yoru copay." I tell this guy that I have a flexible spending card that I didnt have on me (Because I was not expecting them to say I need work done) and he says he will wave the copay. This seemed so fishy to me. First you tell me you will charge $400, then $200, and tell me $0? It seemed as if he was just trying to make sure they got any money from my insurance TODAY that they could. THIS WAS A SALES ATTEMPT. Which is so strange to me to encounter while just trying to take care of my dental health!!!! This is a red alert! A dental office should not be trying to sell you on prices!!! I dont even think I needed this work, after everything that happened I think they just wanted my insurance money. I feel scammed. I am glad I talked them out of giving them any of my money. Please be careful in giving this place any of your money Also, my teeth dont look or feel as cleaned as they usually are when I leave my usual dentist. And when they did my fillings they dropped pieces in my mouth which i read happened to someone else, too. It is now two weeks since I got these "cavities filled" and now those teeth hurt. I did not have any tooth aches before I went to this MINT dentistry!!! I get them filled at MINT and now they hurt!!!! I would give this place negative stars if I could! Those google reviews on this place must be fake! I would never go back to this place! Such a scam!

I would like to start by saying my visit started off good, but took a turn for the worse my son Aiden was taken great care of by Ariel, she took time to play with him, walk him around and even put him to sleep for me ( which she didnt have to, but she did this out of the kindness if her heart). I really appreciate her assistance in watching him while I came experience a horrific experience with something that was supposed to be so simple. Let me start by saying I was supposed to come in to get eight fillings, first off my mouth was numbed beyond my belief even after leaving I was told it would be a couple of hours no longer than two hours of numbness it ended up being four days and then major pain, I was advised to drink a slurpee from 7 Eleven, so I left and picked up my sister and stopped by 7 Eleven and got a slurpee at this time while sucking the slurpee I pull open my mouth to notice my damn Veneer had been chipped, not cracked, but chipped a BIG CHIP. I immediately had my sister call the office because I was still unable to talk due to having my entire top and bottom back of my mouth numbed. They advised me to come back, so we did, when I got back there I was being avoided and no one wanted to admit to what Dr. G had done, one of the assistants sd " are you sure it happened here" I sd are u freaking kidding me, Ive been here before and on the Xray I have all perfect Veneers dont play with me. I look at my smile every day, just as yall did when I walked in. Then Dr. G sd, " there is no way I could have done that I didnt have to go by your front teeth", I told her, the last I checked you have to go through the front of the mouth in order to get to the back. I spoke with an office mgr that let Dr. G bond my Veneer, which WHICH IS NOT REPLACING. I have made several attempts to have this issue resolved and no one has been professional enough or shown any concern to resolve my issue, I find it pretty sad and unprofessional that not even the CFO Sue, since was the name I was given can call. I considered going here I initially because I listened to an advertisement, I will be taking further action. Ive only gotten assistance from Ariel even if its just to leave a message for someone to call me back. Signed Tawanna Fitzpatrick A very unsatisfied patient

I was highly disappointed with my visit to Mint Dentistry. I decided to give Mint Dentistry a try after hearing all the positive reviews, but from the time I got there to after I left, I was not impressed. I went to Mint about a month ago. My visit started off bad. Upon arriving, I had to wait 30 minutes for my insurance to be verified, which I didnt understand because they took that information over the phone when I scheduled my appointment, and told me it they would verify that information before I arrived. After 30 minutes of waiting, I finally made it back to the chair where I was told that they would take 20 x-rays of my teeth, Im used to the standard bite wing x-rays and I personally think that was just too many and very uncomfortable. The dentist came soon after, and I had to have got a new dentist. First she told me my teeth looked fine, but then she started saying that there were several teeth that were "possible" cavities. She would say, "theres a 20% chance that you have a cavity, but I wont know until I go in. " I have never been to a dentist in my life that has done that. She did it on almost four of my teeth! Also, I could barely understand anything that she said because of her accent. The dental hygienist had to repeat everything she said to me. The guy in charge of the payments came to talk to me afterwards, and thats when I really knew that Mint Dentistry wasnt the place for me. He gave me probably the highest price estimate that Ive ever received at a dentist, and then gave me a cheaper quote, saying that if I wanted my dental work to be done that day, then thats how much theyll do it for with their so-called "discount." Overall, my experience was terrible. I feel like they just want your money. They do whatever it takes to max out your benefits, hence the "20 x-ray films." I will NOT be returning and I do NOT recommend this dentist.
