I was directed to this dentist by a friend, after many unsuccessful visits to other dentists. I was told that this place was great, but today I found out for myself. I will not bash the place, because every place can use improvement. I will give some suggestions to where the improvement is needed. First, the receptionists were not customer friendly. I suggest when there are first time visitor, at least let them know they are welcomed and not to feel afraid. Secondly, if you give someone a specific appointment time, try to see those people within that time. I was schedule for a 5 oclock appointment. I checked in 10 minutes before to assure I was not late. I sat there patiently because I know things can get busy. An hour passed and I have yet to be seen. None of the receptionist came to me to notify me that things are running behind. A third thing that did not sit right with me was a customer had a 5:15 appointment, and was called back before me. That is something that should have not happened. After I seen that, I got up and left. That was not right and fair to me. If I knew that I was not going to be seen around my appointment time, I would have never made an appointment.

I have got my root canal done and also got the crown fitted here. It has been more than 2 months. I have visited the clinic two times more after the crown was fitted but the pain is still not gone. I don’t know if the root canal was not done properly or there was something wrong with the way crown was fitted but my tooth keeps hurting. From my conversation with the doctor Ankoo Raina, I understand that all root canals are not successful and mine may be one of them. She informed me that my tooth was heavily infected and the infection is still not gone and that’s why the pain. But she could not offer any solution to it. I am quite frustrated with visiting the clinic again and again and decided not to go there again, thinking that the doctor is not competent enough to undo the damage she has done. My advice to ones who care to heed, please never visit this clinic. Staff is good but the doctor who treated me doesn’t seem to be competent. I usually, don’t write reviews but this time I couldn’t help.

I really like and enjoy this office. The dentists are quite nice...some more than others. I do understand this is a teaching facility. For the sake of that, there needs to be improvement on the time. I had. 1 pm appointment. Yes, I was running late. I did make sure I called. The dentist I saw was very knowledgeable. She advised one of the assistants not to rush even if they were busy. Which, they were quite busy. I am not sure which Dr was on staff on Friday Dec. 9th but she is excellent! Yoi want customers to be happy...get her some help! That is too much for one person to do. Why stack appointments like that! Just horrible. The price point for people with no insurance is excellent! I would recommend the dental clinic for that. With the exception of the 4 hour experience (due to scheduling issues..) I am rather pleased with my experience.

I have never had dental problems prior to this visit. I come in about a month ago to get my checkup. They give me 11 fillings in one day. When I went home and tried flossing, I realized that three of my teeth were glued together with the filling material. When I went back, a different dentist told me that I had way too much filling material so she adjusted my teeth. Two weeks later I was in excruciating pain. I went back and they told me that I need another adjustment. They fixed that one side but ruined the other side. Now Im back here again (a month after my initial visit) to get yet another adjustment. I will not be coming back here my next 6 month check up. Update: 5 days later and am still in pain.

I went in today to get fitted for a crown and get a temporary one. I was also there about a month and a half ago for a root canal. Both times I was helped by María and she is awesome! I am terrified of having dental work done, get really bad anxiety and have a horrible gag reflex, but María has assisted me both times and accommodated their way of working to my issues. Today I was helped also by Dr. Kim and shes very nice as well. They are a busy clinic, but I dont mind waiting when the people are so nice and go out of their way to help! I wish nothing but the best for Maria for being so patient and nice to me. Definitely recommend this place. Also the girls at the front desk are terrific. :-)

I scheduled my appointment with Manager Maira or whatever her name is for my treatment. She scheduled me for a consult I had already done my consult on a previous visit. When Im in the back the manager comes back to tell me that I will have to come back in 45 mins so she can have the time available to do my treatment. So I go get something to eat and they have the audacity to call me and tell me they have to reschedule because they failed to inform the dentist about my treatment. These people need to get their communication in check. I had already waited 45 minutes on top of all this nonsense. I saw at least three other patients walkout in the lobby.

Of all the dental experiences, they went out the door as of today, 3-8-16. Dr. Reyna and her team of dental hygienists(Regina,Cristina,Paulina,Yesenia,Aide and Stephanie) they Wowed me all the way til I checked out n paid my bill. I was cared for from the time I walked into the dental clinic, I was well cared for. My experience at Jefferson Dental Northgate is 100% satisfaction. I would recommend anyone there. Mostly I was very impressed by Dr. Reyna about her knowledge & how she explained every procedure before she began working. Thank you for an amazing experience!!

The clinic and the staff here are amazing! Ive been coming and bringing my husband here for almost a year now and I was surprised when seeing the reviews! This is not a private dentist and I have not yet had anything other than a wonderful experience here. Dr Raina is the best dentist Ive been with so far, when she numbs my mouth I cant feel a thing! She and the staff do an amazing job at seeing so many patients at one time I was in and out and of course the prices here are the best!

I had a root canal done no big deal so I thought. The dentist assured me she could do it with no problem. I asked her if she was sure because Im normally am sent to a specialist. About a week later the tooth that it was done on started hurting. I went back and she told me it failed and she needed to extract my tooth and she would do a bridge for free. Well I agreed when she extracted the tooth she fractured my jaw. Stay away from this place

This is horrible, I don’t normally write reviews. But how in the world does your veneer fall off while eating a salad. Not only did my veneer fall off but they put a crown on and had to remove it because the dentist pushed it down so hard into my gum that I could not chew on the left side of my mouth. Ive paid good money for my teeth and getting horrible results. This is my last visit to this PLACE…..take heed to the warnings
