I was annoyed that they forgot to write a filling appointment on their schedule but they were able to do it since they probably have less patients now. I was annoyed that the hygienist was really rough and used most of his body weight and both his hands to scratch plaque off of my teeth. I have a small discolored spot that is not plaque. However, the following is what I can not stand: Despite the fact that this office plays Christian music, this office is looking for ways to make extra money and is not honest. They add extra services you do not need such as a gingivitis treatment (I think it was a hydrogen peroxide solution) and oral irrigation (water) then charge you FULL price without even asking your insurance if they pay for it. There are thousands of insurance plans out there and there is no way they could know if your insurance will pay for all or part of a procedure. Therefore, all procedures should be filed with your insurance with the proper ADA code so that your insurance knows what the procedure is. In addition, they did not file other parts of my claim right so I had to pay 20% of fillings instead of paying nothing. The Monarch office manager seems, Wendy Thompson, very sympathetic and tells me that the gingivitis treatment, oral irrigation, and the fillings will be refunded. However, I have not received one cent back. Instead I received a bill to pay 100% of one of the fillings because they did not file the network contract paperwork. Wendy said she would correct how the fillings were billed but she has not made any progress. Wendy has called my insurance company twice asking if I was active and what plan I was on but there is no record of the Wendy calling my insurance company to ask if fillings are covered at 100%. Monarch has not yet submitted the gingivitis treatment and oral irrigation to my insurance. Wendy often does not return phone calls and does not call me when she says she will. SUMMARY: I have been asking for a $240 refund for over a month calling twice a week. The manager, Wendy Thompson, said I will receive a refund but I only get excuses and a bill for $171. My insurance company has records of her calling but they do not have records of the conversations Wendy claims to have had.

Dirty, Unprofessional, Untrained. First of all, the pictures on this Google reference is not of their office Or building the main picture has snow caped mountains in the background! None of these pictures are theirs! Before you let them do anything ask to see their x-ray room, its disgusting as well as the entire office. I made an appointment for a cleaning and exam, I also knew I had 3 visible surface cavities. I was reluctant to take x-rays in the first place but I understood they need X-Rays to see cavities between teeth etc... So they decided to train a new technician for the first time on me. After the technician kept making mistakes and had to re-take several shots, I pulled the plug on that program. Thanks for the extra radiation. . the technician did all of the exam and testing of gums I saw the actual Dr. for about 3 minutes, the tech determined I had 3 cavities, and the early stages of gingivitis. I authorized a gingivitis cleaning treatment and made an appointment for my cavities (my insurance was ending and I was worried I couldnt find another Dr. in time). I have since not received fillings for my cavities from this office because this place was so unclean and not anywhere I wanted to receive treatment. The only employees that were helpful and pleasant was an Eastern Indian man (technician) and a lovely African American receptionist when I checked out. I have since moved and they were not able to transfer ANY of my records or X-Rays to my new Dr. I initially was told they could only release records in person (I moved to Florida, not happening) then was told that the office manager needed to approve to email to me or mail. The office manager was unavailable for 5 days (including a day that she was supposed to be there) then when I called again another day to speak to manager they had to evacuate because the building had a gas leak and she was unavailable. Then I was told after waiting days for this "manager" that corporate had to approve my transfer of records! Its been over a week and I havent heard anything from corporate. Meanwhile Ive seen another Dentist in Florida who had no mention of gingivitis (2 weeks after Monarchs exam) but did confirm my 3 cavities. Worst dentist Ive ever been to.

Overcrowded waiting room and staff is very rude! Items placed in my mouth to take x-rays were dirty and I should have said something, but didnt. I had a lot of dental work to be done and took out their "Care Credit". They asked me if I wanted to use the entire balance and they charged my card to the max. That was a mistake!! I feel like it was open money for them to use on whatever they wanted. I went in for 3 filling and before I knew it they were bringing me papers to sign, because the dentist drilled one of my back molars completely away. I never had a filling in that tooth or any pain. I had several other teeth that were a higher priority. The dentist was very hard to understand. When I returned to have the permanent crown placed the assistant tried to pull off the wrong crown! I told her to stop and then she asked me if that hurts. OMG!! I told them to credit my card for the unused amount and I never went back. They make you pay for your services before the service, and also discuss all your personal information right in front of a crowded waiting room.

When I went there the first time (with an appointment), they were so busy I couldnt even get in. Stupid me, I went there again hoping things would be better. This time I went there at 2 in the afternoon and I got my x-rays by 2:30 but then started the wait. After around 3 hours wait, the doctor came took a peek and left. When I asked the nurse if he would be able to do any of the stuff I came in for, she said its already past 5 and the doctors too sick to do anything and any treatment would have to be on another day. I had already lost half a day there. 3 hours wait just to see a doctor! Probably they shouldnt even keep this clinic open at all if they cant get a doctor well enough to treat patients. NEVER going back to this awful place. I never post anything online but I couldnt help share this experience.

Ive never been to a dentist who would refuse a simple cleaning!! I think they refused it because it was the only thing that my insurance would cover. They said thy would not do a simple cleaning because I needed a deep cleaning and fillings and they dont want to be responsible if my teeth fall out!! ABSURD!!! When the lady explained this to me she was extremely rude and condescending. The front desk staff seemed out of place like he didnt belong there and the dental assistant seemed like she just got out of bed and not into her job at all. Very unprofessional and I stormed out of that place without saying a word. A bunch of scam artists!!
