Wish I could give half a star or something... I dont write reviews, so the fact that Im taking the time to write my very first review ever should speak volumes. The staff at this office is absolutely horrible! I strongly advise you to find somewhere else. At your first appointment they tell you that the nurse will set up an online portal account for you, but that never happens. You see the doctor, she says she will write a prescription for such and such, but the nurse never calls it in. You have to call them and ask them why they didnt call your prescription in and a week later they will call it in. I was prescribed a topical ointment, and that is the prescription mentioned above. However, I was also to be prescribed an additional medication that I needed bloodwork for. The nurse gives me a form for bloodwork from labcorp....does she mention that there is a tiny room across the hall that is a labcorp, no...of course not. So after all of the test results are back, it still takes another month for them to call my prescription in to the specialty pharmacy. Did they call any refills in, no...of course not. I call the pharmacist to schedule my next delivery and they inform me that they have contacted Dr. Hitchins office numerous times about why they havent received a refill prescription, but that they could not get a response from the doctors office. So you would think that if the pharmacist had called the office that the office staff would follow up with the patient right? Wrong! I called the office and asked why and the nurse told me that I needed to come into the office in order to get a refill and got very snotty with me. I can not understand why this place is still in business. This isnt even the half of the problems I experienced at this office. Do yourself a favor and steer clear.

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. The staff was completely incompetent - the nurse we had could not figure out how to get the weight of my son (even after I explained she should weigh me, then weigh me holding him, then take the difference) This basic math seemed beyond her. I was assured my follow up visit would be free...but I was charged a ridiculous amount. During this follow up visit, Dr. Hitchins flat our REFUSED to look at the spot on my sons back that we were coming in for. I asked her repeatedly to take a look, but she said "NO!" and went so far as to turn her head when I lifted his shirt. I am now receiving bill after bill for small amounts...but no one in their billing office can explain. She also used a lab not recognized by my insurance (Aetna) and located out of town. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!!

I wish I would have read the reviews before going here. Its been 1 month since our appt and its been nothing but issues. The appt alone I felt rushed and brushed off. Multiple creams were prescribed because of the outrageous costs of one after the other. For some reason I was contacted by 3 different pharmacies. To this day I am still getting calls and prescriptions in the mail for stuff I dont know what it is, so I have no idea what they did. I have had so many calls back and forth with nurses and I get nowhere. Im told to work with the pharmacies if I dont need the prescriptions. I can rarely reach a person and its not right that they leave me to deal with THEIR pharmacies for something they prescribed. I will never be back and wish I could be done with them.

The experience was not what I would expect from a dr. that is agreeing to see a minor. The staff was rude when my son and I were waiting in the exam room, he was watching a movie on my phone and laughing. They came in and started telling us to turn it off other are complaining it was to loud and we were laughing to loud. Then when it came to the billig. 5 months after the bill was paid they stated I owed more funds. I asked for a statement and they told me they could not send a statement but I could still pay the balance. Now its in collctions and the price has tripled with still no proof of balance. Insurance said balance is paid so who is lying.

I normally dont post reviews, however, this office deserves a review. First off let me say, Dr. Higgins is a very knowledgeable doctor but the office staff is very rude. After my first office visit I felt comfortable continuing derm. service for my child here. However, after the first visit everything went downhill. I was even charged a no show for an office visit that her office staff call me to reschedule.

My children and I have been patients of Dr. Hitchins for almost 5 years now. Dr. Hitchins is fantastic! She is thorough and takes the time to answer all my questions. She is also very kind and sweet so my kids love their appointments with her. I recommend Dr. Hitchins to all my family and friends!

I had my first visit with Dr. Hitchins today. I was a little scared by the 1 star review before I went. However, I had a wonderful experience! Not only the staff is very nice, Dr. Hitchins is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. My doubt is all gone and I look forward to my next visit!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Every cream that dr hitchens has prescribed to me was overpriced and never solved the problem, in my opinion. It appeared to me that her staff was impolite. The wait has been at least 40 minutes to an hour after the time of my appointment.

I saw Dr. Hitchins for the first time last week and I absolutely love her. She has a great bedside manner and explained everything to me to my understanding. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was one of the best doctor visits I have ever had!!

Yet another patient thats sick and tired of showing up early for an appointment only to have to wait 30-60 minutes to been seen AFTER the appointment date. Avoid this place if you value your time.

Spent 5 minutes with me. Charged 350.00 to freeze three small spots. Didnt accept medicare which they only told me about after she saw me. Wont go back to this rip off outfit.

Dr. Hitchins is an excellent dermatologist. She was very gentle when she removed a wart from my forehead last year and shes currently treating me for vitiligo.

very bad experience ! they charge me $100 just to say the insurance will not cover , shake my hands and done bye ... never ever this place again ;)
