The Vintage | Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is a family practice physician clinic located at 10701 Vintage Preserve Pkwy, Houston, TX 77070, USA. The clinic has a rating of 3.7 based on customer reviews.
Several reviews mention long wait times, both for getting an appointment and for receiving test results. One reviewer mentioned a 45-minute wait for test results that were supposed to take "15 minutes." Another mentioned having to wait a minimum of 40 minutes past the scheduled appointment time to see the doctor.
The reviews are divided when it comes to the quality of care. Some reviewers praise the clinic for its efficient service, mentioning that they received test results quickly and appreciated the doctors taking their time during appointments. Others felt the doctors were uncaring and focused more on conducting unnecessary tests.
Billing and insurance issues are a common theme in the reviews. Several reviewers felt misled about what would be covered by insurance, leading to unexpected bills. One reviewer mentioned being charged $15,000 for a routine physical.
The receptionists generally receive positive comments for being friendly and helpful. However, the reviews indicate that the doctors and nurses have a more mixed reputation. Some reviewers felt that the staff tried to push different shots and treatments without showing genuine care for the patients.
If you have a more complex medical issue that requires a referral, be prepared for bureaucratic hurdles. One reviewer mentioned that the process between the doctor and approval for a referral was "complete hell."
The Vintage | Kelsey-Seybold Clinic appears to be a mixed bag. While some patients have had positive experiences, particularly with quick test results and efficient service, others have faced long wait times, billing issues, and less-than-stellar interactions with medical staff.

I was looking for a doctor and I decided to go to Kelsey-Seybold Clinic at the Vintage because it was close and clean looking. I called the appointment hotline and was recommended to Dr. Vivekananthan. I accepted because it was available for the time I wanted. I went in and was told by the front desk staff that my visit was going to be covered as preventative care. I thought this was great. Who doesnt like free stuff? My visit continues and I go into the doctors office and am offered all these tests. I proceed to ask my doctor if these tests are still covered as preventative care and she says "yes." I didnt need these tests, but I hadnt been to the doctor in years so I figured why not (they are "free"). Other than the tests the doctor had no conversation with me about my medical concerns. I leave the office not even knowing anything about my health. I figured what does it matter. It was free. I didnt lose anything. A Month later I get a bill from Kelsey-Seybold wanting me to pay a couple hundred dollars. This seems very upsetting to me due to the fact that I was outright told that these procedures were covered under my insurance. Not to mention that I left my visit feeling like I had no idea what happened and if I was healthy. I believe that my doctor/Kelsey used me to get as much money from me and my insurance company by performing a number of un-necessary tests. Do more research before visiting this clinic/Dr Vivekananthan. It is doctors/clinics like these that push up the costs of healthcare.

This place is ridiculous. Ive been going here for 10+ years and you actually get in at your appointment time one every ten appointments. I recently had an appointment for some ear infection/sore throat symptoms and I waited for 45 minutes on test results that should take "15 minutes" and waited for over 2 hours to even leave the office because they take THAT LONG. If you want to come here, make sure you take a whole day to come. They also dont really care about their patients either. I once came in after reading some books on autoimmune thyroid problems I had, to ask questions and get more tests done. This was met by one of the doctors condescendingly asking if I was a doctor. I was then told to basically leave my health in the hands of the doctors, who never even told me I had an autoimmune problem in the first place. I was told to not worry about it. I was told by multiple doctors here to not worry about my body attacking itself and basically let it happen!

Surprised at some of the reviews for the KS Vintage Park location. I can only review about my experience which has been nothing but great. Ive gone here for a few years now, so a few sick visits and physicals. Ive never once had to wait more than 20 minutes at the most for my appointment. When you get sent for blood work it can be done right away. Never had to wait in the lab area. I had a diagnostic mammogram in 2016 on a Thursday and thought I would be worried all weekend - nope, got my results the next day. And the full 5 stars for this week...yesterday I had a sick visit and was sent for an abdomal ultrasound which I was able to schedule the next day. I went in this morning and was seen on time and had my results with a note from the doctor 5 hours later. You cannot get that type of service anywhere else!

I have visited the Kelsey Seybold in the Vintage a few times now strictly because of our insurance we are currently on. I have only ever left angry and upset. Whether it was for a doctor appointment, dermatologist, or even just a shot, I have always had to wait a minimum of 40 mins to even get in to see the doctor after my scheduled appointment time. I also always have to go out and check to make sure the doctor remembered I am still there. The receptionists that greet you are the only people in the facility I have found friendly and helpful. The doctors and nurses try to push different shots and treatments on you the whole time and do not show any care for you at all. Just be prepared to spend at least 3 hours for any appointment you make here. We will be changing soon.

This is not a company I would recommend getting hooked up with. They do not care about their patients welfare. I was wrongly terminated from my doctor and not allowed to make an appointment because of an administrative screw up with billing. The business office acknowledged that the bills were all paid but they would not allow me to make an appointment until they say, that "I must write a letter requesting that I be reinstated." IT did not matter if I needed medical treatment at that time or that I had been a long time patient with them and my DR. for over 10 yrs. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A PLACE THAT HAS THEIR PATIENTS BEST INTEREST AT HEART OR THAT CARES ABOUT DOING THE RIGHT THING? Dont count on them to be there when you need their care.

Started coming here about six months ago and I wonder why it took me so long to start here.... First of all, the ability to goto any branch and have all of your test records and data available electronically on demand is fantastic. Instead of having to drive to one location I can make an appointment at any branch around town. The family doctor I see Ive never had any issue with. Compared to previous family doctors they tend to take their time and not give you a feel as if youre being rushed to get in and out. Easy communication with the staff, everyone is always friendly and accomodating.

Dr Nguyen is a good doctor. If you need antibiotics because your child is sick or a well visit - go for it. That said, if your child has a major medical problem, think twice before going to Kelsey Seybold Clinic. This place is a complete bureaucracy if you need a referral, the overall process between a doctor and approval is complete hell. We have Kelsey care for the first time and cant wait until re-enrollment next year to drop the plan. Working with Aetna directly is more pain free, which is what we have resorted to doing. Ill repeat, think twice. The nurses are terrible.

Worst clinic ever!!!!!! Not only do they charge ridiculously high, but the price for the service is not even worth it. $15000 for jus a routinely physical, really!!!? Granted the staff is friendly, but the service was not worth the price. They didnt disclosed to me what was even covered under my insurance, proceeded with the procedure and charged me anyway. I am never coming back again.

Same report here Joel - I visited a couple of times and felt the Dr was simply after my Insurance $$$ running test after test. Unfortunately the Dr also had a very uncaring attitude, and I definately got the feeling he was only there for the paycheck. Not what you want in a Dr. Ill go back to using "Private Practice" Drs.

Honestly the quality of care is great here. The doctors I have had are knowledgeable and overall excellent. If you have good insurance the costs are very reasonable, and they are able to take care of all your needs in house which is very nice. Honestly I will only be going to Kelsey Seybold.
