He might the only doctor who is really concerned about patient problems, of all i have seen around. I had a skin problem for years for which i have tried many doctors over the period. All of the visits were futile as the medication course didnt work. In fact after I am in US I visited almost 3 doctors about the same problem, none could help me. I actually gave up hope and started to live with it. Finally on my wifes advice, i started looking for doctor again, found Dr.William( close to house). First thing i realized is that he doesnt take insurance, but his prices were reasonable( that i afford). So, I was little upset that i might have to pay more out of pocket, then i started thinking how come lot of people still goes to him and give him good reviews. Finally I come to conclusion, he should be good with what he does otherwise he wouldnt have survived. Then comes the final day, I visited the doctor, old style office but for the first time I met a doctor who is concerned with patients problem. He took time to ask as many questions as possible and finally narrowed few solutions to give first trial medicine. After completing the medication I informed him that it didnt work. This where he surprised me, he said come by tomorrow morning ( no appointment required and not charged) for another diagnosis. He then gave another medicine, which worked like magic. So, far I dont see my skin condition coming back and I am going to continue with the regular visits.

Best doctor ever, gave me and my cousin accutane 5 years ago when we both had horrible acne and it cleared our faces and Back up in 6 months. I didnt have 1 pimple after that for 3 years, now I get one every once in a while. Accutane only gets a bad rap because all those new doctors used to prescribe it at CRAZY mg amounts like 400, I took 40 mg a day for 6 months. Would do the same thing over again only sooner if I had the chance so I would have had 0 scars. Go to dr. Weidhoffer if you want clear skin

When I go to the doctor I want them to focus on what I need, not what the insurance companies will or wont reimburse for... but thats just me. Then fact that this doctor doesnt file insurance doesnt mean you cant get reimbursed. You can mail in your receipt yourself and get reimbursed with the out-of-network coverage, depending on your plan. I havent been to this doctor but Im sending my wife there this week since he is probably more patient focussed, not dealing with insurance.

I took my son to Dr. Waidhofer some years back and have been a patient myself over the years. Dr. Waidhofer is an excellent doctor who takes plenty of time to listen to your concerns and to make an assessment. In addition, he is emotionally in tune with the patient; he is reassuring when called for, sensitive to concerns and has a pleasant personality. Obviously, I think highly of him and his friendly office staff.

Dr. Waidhofer is kind, knowledgable, good at explaining procedures, cares genuinely about me as a patient and also about my personal life. He takes time to ask what I want in terms of medical care, and then he listens to my thoughts about his prescribed course of action. He has been my dermatologist for almost 30 years, and I appreciate him very much.

Honest, great rates, he will work with those who do not have insurance and have low budgets. He does take insurance so those other two reviews are ridiculous and there is more to a review than one aspect, so learn how to rate people. Dr. Waidhofer is experienced and has the knowledge to help. He did solve my issue, which was my biggest relief.

Over the past 25 years, Ive been to five other dermatologists throughout Houston including the Medical Center and Dr. Waidhofer has proved to be the best dermatologist ever. He is friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. Also, his office visit and service fees are very reasonable. Best dermatologist + best prices = Dr. Waidhofer.

Dr. Waidhofer is awesome. Knowledgeable and friendly, and VERY reasonable prices. He does not accept insurance of any kind, and takes cash or check only (not even credit or debit). This is especially useful for those that do not have insurance. I highly recommend him.
