I can not recommend this place enough. My actual dermatologist is Dr. Cox, but I have seen the other dermatologist here as well, and they are BOTH amazing and wonderful doctors. I am one of those people that has had acne since I was 12 and now in my 30s, I still have acne! I suffer from all sorts of skin issues and Dr Cox and Clear Dermatology always helps me solve all my issues! What I like best about this practice is that the doctors here help you with a skincare routine that actually works for you. Ive tried everything under the sun, and I know what I like and what works and the doctors here support my routine and help me with any issues that arise. For example, I was having a big interview coming up and all of a sudden I got a huge, throbbing, super painful pimple right near my eye. I was mortified and literally couldnt see because it was coming in my vision! lol! I freaked out and called Clear and they got me in right away. Dr Cox gave me a steroid shot on the pimple (as well as some other active ones I Had around my face) and the next day, NO PIMPLE! I was ecstatic and super excited. Why did I not know about this earlier? That was a special case though, typically if you call to make an appointment, you will probably have to wait at least a month or two for an appointment. That itself should tell you how amazing they are! I am writing this review because for the first time in my life, I have my acne in control. It only took my entire life! Clear helped me get there. If anyone is wondering, I use tazorac.

Hard to describe my experience. The experience has been of a great quality regarding practice and doctor for the half year Ive been here but the problem is the appointment options and cost. PROS: Very nice, stylish office. The entry room has soft couches and the doctor rooms are very clean and modern looking. Everyone has been terrifically friendly here, especially Dr. Cox, which if I could solely review her it would be 5 stars. I come here for cosmetic reasons like warts, which if youre familiar with it is a very common virus that takes a long time to eradicate and or ease. So obviously I was set up with a series of procedures that needs constant attention. Here comes my problem. They have very 9-5 scheduling hours. I have to take off an hour- 2 hours from work if I need to come here because theyre not early enough or late enough. Also, they dont do Saturdays, or if they do, it was never available for me. Since my issue is cosmetologic, insurance wont pay and this place is VERY expensive when it comes to using liquid nitrogen to hit up a few warts. I mean hundreds of $$ in bills and while I really understand the doctors frustrations that I need to come in more often to eradicate, thats just not possible when you cant afford multiple visits a month because of cost and taking time off. So, Ive decided to treat myself at home. But I would still recommend this place to someone who doesnt need intensive treatment and has the time on their hands because the doctors here are good.

I want to preface the following statement by saying that the staff here has exceptional bedside manner and professionalism, and I greatly appreciate that. I visited this office at 10am on Tuesday 9/6/16. I wanted to have a cyst removed. This is not the first time I have done this, so I am familiar with the procedure. It is very simple and takes very little time. I paid $35 for an exam and scheduled the removal for the next day, which just happened to be an open appointment due to a patient cancelling before my arrival. After leaving the office, I called the office back to find out the price for the procedure and was told it would be $550. I cancelled the appointment as this was simply too much and was hit with a $150 no-show fee. I called back the same day the appointment was made. I understand if a practice wishes to charge a no-show fee. Tons of patients no-show all the time, and that costs doctors a lot of money. I get that, but thats not what this was. This was a cancellation after finding out the ridiculous price of a cyst removal after not being informed of the cost of the procedure before leaving the office. A $50 no-show fee would be pricey, but I would have shrugged it off and taken my business elsewhere. A $150 no-show fee is absolutely unacceptable.

If your lookimg for best in class dermatoligy look no further. When I enter the office at 7:45am the first thing they said was good morning and asked for my name not my insurance card. Dr. Tran and Bobby were incredible. When I first arrived Bobby took time to explain to me exactly what would happen during my procedure. She was very freindly and knowledgeable. Dr. Tran was awesome. I told her I was a bit nervous, for several reasons, not knowing what the results might be, her having to do the procedure on my face and any scaring. I truly felt that she understood my concerns and she took the time to set me at ease. During the procedure she informed me what was happening and made sure I was comfortable. After the procedure she explained everything that happened and answered every question I had. She never made me feel rushed. This is hands down the best experience I have had with any doctor in 20 years.

Dr. Cox and her staff are fantastic! I have rosacea and the acne associated rosacea (Im an over-achiever). And from day 1, close to 3 years ago, Dr Cox has been working to find a solution specifically tailored to me and my sensitivities. Perhaps if Id paid attention, and followed her plan, I wouldnt have found myself begging for an appointment on extremely short notice. But there I was, on Thursday @ 12n, calling asking for some time on her calendar. Her staff responded quickly providing me with same day options. I felt so much better after speaking to Dr. Cox and coming up with a plan to get me back on track. I feel she genuinely cares about me and my well-being.

The whole experience at Clear Dermatology was very comfortable and quick. I had plenty of time and attention to discuss my needs and Dr. RICHMOND was great. SHE LISTENED and we both came up with a plan for the days visit as well as insight into my future needs and preventative treatments. Recommendations are fairly rare from me, yet this experience is definitely worth referring. The whole visit left me very satisfied with no fear of addressing future needs, without fearing intimidation or dissapointments. The staff, as well as Dr. RICHMOND were all relaxed and down to earth. I will definitely return!

I saw Chi Tran for moderate to severe acne. While Im sure she tried very hard to be warm and welcoming as doctor, I never felt comfortable with her and constantly felt like she was judging me for not wanting to get on accutane as soon as possible. If Accutane or a specific protocol is something you want, then yes see her but otherwise you may feel pressure to try Accutane and made to feel like there are no other options. Keep searching if you want to explore everything there is. Also, she never discussed how different topicals, washes, internal medicines, could be combined to treat my acne.
