I drove 42 miles for an appt I set 2.5 months ago. I got in traffic called said running a bit late. They stated have 15 minute cushion. I get there then spend another almost 10 minutes trying to park in a parking lot that is always full and had to finaly go to the ent park garage and walk over. I arrive, they give me my paper work to fill out and I sit to start filling out, and then they tell me I was late for my appt an extra 5 Minutes than alotted and Dr would no longer see me for my appt. I have come to tis office and waiting 15-45 minutes to be seen between sitting in lobby waiting and then in the exam room waiting, yet you cancel my appt. after I drove for 40 minutes to get there. And besides all this, the front desk people are rude. They do not let you speak, not do they care. The same ones that said when I called, that it was ok if running a bit late and to come on. I have been with them for 5 years. Due to todays fiasco and the waste of my time in driving that far and being off work, I have decided to find me another Dr. I have to accomodate the Dr being late, yet they do nto accomodate the patient. Thats not the service I want from any Dr. Nor have I ever with any Dr I see had this happen, or been treated like oh well sorry you drove 40 minutes, but we have a schedule. Dr will not see you now. Well guess what I have a schedule to keep to and that does nto keep the Dr from being late to MY appt,

Called to make a appointment today 10/18/2016, was told the earliest I could see a doctor would be 11/14/2016 (almost a month in the future). The receptionist could have said "we arent taking new patients right now" or provided some comment to indicate that this was not the normal delay. However, she did not leading me to believe a month delay or longer for an appointment is common at this office. I have news for this clinic, this is not acceptable. A better managed clinic could have room in the schedule for new patients and emergency conditions or better training for receptionist. Its their business to operate as they choose, but its places like the Woodlands Dermatology Associates that make me actually hope for full Heath care reform to the extent that all private practices become government controlled. On scheduling alone, Its inconceivable to me that even the government could do a worse job that the powers that be that manage practices like this one. Truly disgusted.

Everyone was really nice, the doctor I saw was very informative. My biggest issue was when I was scheduling my appointment, I was inquiring on what the copay would be for my specific insurance in which the reply was more or less, "It will be what the specialist copay is on your insurance card." With that answer, I was satisfied and went ahead on the appointment. It wasnt until after I saw the doctor and was going to check out that I learned my payment was more than 3 times the amount listed on the insurance card. I was told that that number was only to SEE the doctor, but since I actually got a service, it was now x amount. I feel like that is all good and fine, and makes sense, but I feel like I should have been told that over the phone when I originally inquired upon the copay amounts according to my insurance. In no way shape or form was I made aware of the extra charge for having a service done. For this reason I feel I was misled, and will not be coming back.

Ive often thought one must always rate a physician by their training, expertise, exam room manner and attentivness to the patients needs and questions. Dr. Payne is certainly to be rated 5 stars in all these categories. However, its my opionion that when visiting a dermatological specialist, that the appearance and looks of the office staff and nurses who are associated with a dermatologist should be above and beyond reproach in all facets of skin care and complexion. During my second visit to this office I paid special attention to the good looks and glowing complexions of Dr. Paynes office and nursing staff. All the women in this office, Dr. Payne included, are exceptionally beautiful and demonstrate excellent skin care. It is for this reason, plus Dr. Paynes medical expertise, that I shall remain a good and faithful patient.

I do not reccomennd this practice if you are going to be seen by Dr. Holly Hazlitt. She is rude and condescending to staff and patients. When seeing my daughter for an annual skin check and acne she prescribed a medication that will cause more acne and seemed very unknowledgeable about meds. When questioned about this, she referred us on. This proves her incompetence. I am an RN with experience, this is not acceptable healthcare.

My family and I have been very fortunate to have found Dr. Ledbetter many years ago. She is amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable (brilliant) loves her patients, smiles and is friendly (super bedside manner) and will go the extra mile to make sure if you need anything she and her caring RNs (Jan especially) will make it happen! It doesnt get any better than her! Thank you!!!

Wow! What a great first experience. Everyone was polite and seemed happy to assist you in any way. Dr. Stuart was so friendly, she was thorough, and she explained everything clearly and had a very warm personality. Additionally, everything was just so fast and efficient. It was such a great experience. I would definitely recommend them!

I have seen Dr.Ledbetter for years. She is wonderful in every way. As a teacher it has been harder to make an appointment since she cut back her hours to be with her children, but I fully support that decision so I will work my appointment times to fit her schedule. Well worth it!

Horrible, made appointment 3 months ago and was in room with me for 3 whole minutes! They were quick to collect my $35 copay though! Rather drive into the city to Baylor or Bellaire Dermatology!
