Went to Kim Brown to address a few broken capillaries around my nose and a tiny bit of rosacea on each cheek. Decided on a mild V-Beam procedure. I definitely did not want the aggressive V-Beam known as purpura which I made perfectly clear to Kim. The first two mild treatments went well. I noticed the capillaries were less noticeable and I was quite happy and I told Kim this when I arrived for my third visit. She began my treatment and immediately I noticed the difference in the intensity of the laser on my skin. When she was done my face had about 15 large swollen dark large red marks all over my face. I was swollen and in pain. I was shocked when I saw my face. She had given me a V-beam purpura treatment! She said the last person she did this to was very mad at her but was happy with the results in the end. She sent me home with little to no after care instructions. I was so upset and had to figure out how to heal my skin on my own. It was three months before I could leave the house and that was after I applied a ton of make-up to hide the black and blue marks all over my face. Of course, I called her to express my concern and ask why she performed a procedure that I definitely made very clear that I never would want to have done. She had no answer for me. She told me it would only take a couple of months to heal completely. It is 10 months since the procedure and my skin looks worse now then before the procedure. I have redness that I never had before the procedure and she actually scarred my skin in 2 specific areas. What gave her the right to perform a procedure that I told her I didnt want? I was emotionally distraught over the condition of my once lovely skin and she didnt care about my concerns. I dont even know what she was addressing when she went wild with the laser all over my face and even lasered my neck under my jawline. I asked her and she mumbled something I didnt quite comprehend. All I ever asked for was to address a few broken capillaries around my nose. How did my whole face become involved. Do not trust this women!

My review is regarding my inference of office management, I welcome the establishment to provide a rebuttal. Warning to Spring Dermatology if you do decide to post a rebuttal dont be supervised if a very public investigation to verify your claims follows... I called on 10/18/2016 and was told delay to see an Medical Doctor would be about a month but "I can make you an appointment to see a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant next week", when I asked how much the co-pay would be to see one of the the much less qualified and much less experienced individuals I was told "The price is the same". When I asked how much insurance would be billed again I was told "its billed the same". Sadly this is common practice when doctors arent available, but when the wait is a month in the future to see a real MD, its clear the office is taking advantage of being able to pay less educated, less skilled workers less money yet bill them at the same rates as MDs. Our Heath care system in the United States needs to be completely ripped apart and put back together, this very unethical form of office management should absolutely be illegal. Sadly it isnt. This is absolute garbage.

I chose Spring Dermatology because of the great reviews on the internet. I go to the office they told me the cost of the visit would be between $60.00 - $150.00 well of course my visit was $150.00 after less then 2mins of the Dr looking at my skin condition I was told they wanted to do a biopsy, great no problem, the Dr also told me she was going to give me my results in person no extra charge. When I went to get my results they sent in a nurse, I askd wheres the DR was, they informed me, if you see the DR it will be another $150.00..... I was then given a prescription for cream, when I went to fill it the cost was $352.00 .... WOW..... I still have the skin condition .. not cleared up!!! dont want to call again as that is also a problem they dont answer there phone at certain times of the day. I am not a happy patient !!!

Dr. Carr is a very nice lady and very well educated... Her office staff are not and I found them to be very rude. Every time I go in there, something gets messed up - they try to get me to pay twice or something. And to get an appt you have to schedule like 2 months ahead of time. I made an appointment in april for July 5 and then come to find out they call me and tell me that they are closed that day and that the earliest they could see me is late August. Also the waiting room is filled with couches - sounds comfy right? Well couches take up a lot of room and very few people get to actually sit down. And when the office is filled with people, a lot of people end up standing for most of the wait.

Not sure why this practice has negative reviews, but sounds like lots of very specific, isolated issues! I have been going to Dr. Carr for years and she has always been AMAZING along with her staff. I have even seen Dr. Flowers since she moved to this practice and she maintains the same level of professionalism and wonderful care that I have been used to. I have NEVER had a bad experience with them (and Im pretty picky considering Ive been in sales my whole life). The staff and doctors are always responsive, making sure my Rxs work with my insurance - just all around caring. I highly recommend this practice you are looking for a dermatologist!

Only had one appointment here and will not return. The appointment was very quick and not personable. Doctor didnt even introduce herself or seem interested in any of my questions or concerns. After looking at my skin for about ten seconds the doctor started listing my problems and options for medications. When I expressed concerns with antibiotics there was no alternative suggestions. They are not willing to work with patients and clearly just want to fill prescriptions and get paid. They even stated that they will order name brand prescriptions because they are "cheaper" than off-brand.

I dont know why this place has a 3 star rating. Ive been coming here for a year now and they are amazing. Ive had acne for 10 years so last summer I came in feeling desperate. They examined my face, gave me some prescriptions, and I was outta there in 15 mins. My acne and scarring has improved SO MUCH after just one year. I am a self-pay customer and they try really hard to shave off as much money as possible. The waiting area is also clean and comforting. The words I would use are efficient, professional, and friendly.

Staff - disorganized. Lobby and exam rooms - cramped. Physician - didnt appear. Physicians assistant - had a smarmy personality. Was going to cut off a wart-like thing on my childs foot but claimed not to have any way to numb it first. She put the responsibility of numbing it onto me by prescribing a cream that Id have to pick up at the pharmacy, and apply to my childs foot myself before bringing him back in. My child and I both were like "WTF?????? This is a dermatologists office!!!!" NOT GOING BACK.
