I was the previous manager of Alpine Physical Therapy and I am currently a graduate student at the University of Utah. The MBA/MHA program at the U is fantastic. Ive had every opportunity to learn and grow. Learning how to manage hospitals and clinics is a valuable and useful tool- and a great industry to be in. One of the main reasons I got into the program was because of the experience I gained working at Alpine Physical Therapy. Thanks for giving me so many opportunities! During my first month of school it was pretty obvious that I had a GIANT leg up on everybody else. You cant get the experience you can at Alpine Physical Therapy anywhere else! I was elected as our class representative to the Program Director and was elected as a GBSA Chair. Thats basically the governing student body of all the Graduate Schools in the David Eccles School of Business. I was also selected as a Director of the Future Healthcare Leaders of America Club. It has been a busy year but Ive been able to stay organized and on task! I ended up at the top of my class and had an amazing resume to apply for graduate level internships this summer. I cant help but thank Alpine Physical Therapy for starting me on this path! It has been a blast! The University of Utah is very well connected to Intermountain and the U Hospital and during school I had the opportunity to meet with many executives. Im good friends with the first president and CEO of Intermountain, the former CEO of Primary Childrens and Vice President of Intermountain. I had multiple internship offers this summer including ones from Intermountain, the University of Utah Hospital and others. I decided to go with one that focused on cancer care. Its a company called Gamma West and it is the cancer arm of many of the HCA and IASIS Hospitals in Utah. I report directly to the companys CEO and hes been very pleased with my work. Ive been able to travel to different hospitals, meet CEOs and Division Presidents. Ive probably met and connected with 8 or 9 hospital CEOs and their executive team, met the HCA Mountain Division President, Central Utah Clinics CEO, and many other important healthcare people in the state. It has been the best internship for me and I couldnt be happier with it. Its fun to think that all of this started with a great job at Alpine Physical Therapy! Thank you!

I have a leg condition called Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction and was in a wheelchair for about 7 months. When I was ordering a titanium lifetime wheelchair, my insurance company required that I get a Physical Therapists signature to prove that I need it. When I met with Paul the Physical Therapist, he wouldnt sign the paper. He told me that I was too young to be stuck in a chair and told me he has complete confidence that he could get me back walking and running again. After months of therapy, I am so happy to say that I am running and jumping (carefully!). I am extremely happy with the compassion and dedication that the employees put into my recovery. They were all very knowledgeable about my pain and what caused it. They have creative techniques and technology that progressed me faster than other clinics probably could. This was also because when youre a patient here, you receive one-on-one care instead of being in a big room with a bunch of other patients. Note: When you are a patient here, you get a free membership. I loved that, and had a personal trainer guide me through some of the exercises they gave me. I felt so loved here!

The friendly atmosphere at Alpine PT is the best. Physical Therapy can be painful and you know youre getting the best experience when you have a few assistants working on you. I just finished PT here for ACL/meniscus surgery. Paul Anderson, the PT, really knows his stuff. He is able to create a program with certain exercises that get you better for the long run. They want to make sure that when you leave, you have learned exercises that you can do at home or at the gym to prevent re-injury. Youre greeted by the assistants who are excited to do what they do! They never double book appointments so you always get the 1 on 1 experience and the full attention of the Physical Therapist and assistants. Each appointment is tailored just for you. You really get to know everyone in the room and build a relationship with them which makes you want to come back! I will miss the experience and laughs I had with the many people who worked with me! If you need PT, this is definitely the place to go! You cant beat the 1 on 1 experience and treatment you get at Alpine Physical Therapy!

Alpine Physical Therapy is a great place to go to receive physical therapy for injuries, recovery, etc. Paul, the physical therapist, is really great! The assistants that work with him are awesome too! They are very friendly and enjoy getting to know their patients. They listen to each client really well and take good care of them. One thing I especially like about Alpine Physical Therapy is that they give you one on one attention which you may not receive at other places! They focus on you solely in one treatment room which is very personal. The best thing is that their treatment includes massage, ultrasound, MET, PNF, and they also do exercises afterward which is really great! The cool thing is that there is a gym on the first floor just below Alpine Physical Therapy. This is the best way to get physical therapy along with exercise and stretching. It helps the client get stronger and recover quicker. Alpine Physical Therapy is a great place to go!

Alpine Physical Therapy is a great place to go for pain relief and friendly service. The staff there is very attentive and helpful with everything that I need. I have also seen great results in my progress towards a healthy pain free status. The Physical Therapist at Alpine is knowledgeable, friendly, and very capable. He is also very willing to work with me to find a treatment plan that works best for my schedule. The staff there is also very supportive and know exactly how to push me to see the improvements I am looking for in a Physical Therapy environment. Alpine Physical Therapy is definitely a place I will return to if I ever need help with future injury. This is also a place I would send friends and family. If you are in pain or have recently been injured don’t wait, call them now and get the same great care I am receiving.

From April to August 2014 I completed an internship in Physical Therapy in preparation for my Masters in Athletic Training. This place is amazing! The clients (i.e.personal training and physical therapy) I met, the lessons and methods I learned during my time there are priceless. They really push you to be the best no matter what level you are at. They have a team of leaders set up to help you succeed and bring out the best. This is an internship that challenged me intellectually and prepared me for the next big step. The things I learned there will definitely help no that Ive been accepted into the Weber State University Masters in Athletic Training program.

Alpine Physical Therapy has helped me soooo much. I had neck pain and headaches deriving from weakened bones in my neck from bone cancer which I have recovered from. They helped to strengthen all my muscles in my neck and back so my bone pain is like 80% less. It is so wonderful having more than one person working on you at a time. There were times 2 assistants were giving me neck or back massage. They gave me exercises to do at home and at the gym to continue to strengthen my neck even after therapy has ended. I would definitely recommend Alpine Physical Therapy to my friends and family mostly because of the individualized attention.
