Honestly I felt like I was taken advantage of, I specified multiple times that I didnt have insurance, I am starting a company right now and things are tight, on top of that I was going in to have him repair a filling that he did a little over a year ago. I spoke over the phone as well as in person about the work that needed to be done and they assured me that it would be less than $300, when I went in, I found out that I had a $145 credit for the last two years that they never let me know about, which if the table was turned I am sure they would have sent me to collections. Next, he repairs the filling, on what I came in for. I ask him to take a look at one of the other fillings that he did being there was wear on that one and how much longer that would last, Dr. Boyden opted to do the other tooth without asking my permission, which was as simple as putting some sealant on the tooth, no drilling, no cleaning, nothing. When I received my bill to my surprise I was charged the same amount for the second tooth and a full filling, well over $500. When I protested, the secretary told me that there was nothing they could do, and the doctor decided that it needed to be done. I had a second dentist look at it after visiting Dr. Boyden and he let me know the work that was done was very bad, the shade of the filling is wrong and completely sticks out on the tooth. If you are looking for an honest dentist who cares about his patients, Dr. Boyden isnt the dentist for you.

I love Dr. Boyden !! His staff is the best around. I have been going to see Dr. B and his team for over 10 years now and I recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist. He has the best sense of humor, great jokes and mad dental skills. I have had my silver fillings removed and filled with new pretty white ones, 3 crowns and a couple root canals. No problems whatsoever. I even had a chipped tooth due to a sticky Jolly Rancher, gave Dr. B a call and he said get in here and we will get it taken care of. Just like that.. filed it smooth again and off I went. Questions?? Ask Colleen .. she has the answers for anything related to insurance, co-pays, deductibles. You ask it.. she will have the answer. Give them a try.. I hope you love them as much as I do. Thank you ladies and Dr. B. See you in a couple of months.

Dr. Boyden and his staff are the best. When I was little my dentists literally climbed up on my chest and held me down while doing some work. I was scared to death of dentistry. Dr. Boyden set me at ease and does everything possible to make the dental visits comfortable. The front office staff have been a pleasure to work with and Have also worked within my budgetary limits even allowing me to put portions of my bill on payment plan. When I lost a Crown they fit me in to get it repaired! Great staff and service.

I have only been to Boyden dental a couple of times and they have been amazing! The second time I went they called me by my name and knew who I was. They are extremely friendly and personable. They make you feel like part of their family. I was referred to them by a friend and I couldnt believe the difference in their office compared to a bigger corporation. I wish I would of know about Boyden dental years ago! If youre looking for a family friendly environment Boyden dental is the place for you!

I have a bit of a fear of dental work but know its not a choice. Boyden Dental was suggested to me and I took the plunge. The Dentist, dental hygienist, front office staff, everyone was thoughtful and kind and efficient. I cant say enough good things about how thorough and lovely this office is to work with. They also do a great job of explaining things, answering questions and catering to concerns. I dont see myself going anywhere else and would highly recommend them to everyone.

I had the worst experience. The staff is disrespectful. They are not honest at all. They told me a price on the phone and after I had the work done it was $800 more than what Ive been told. When I said the girl told me a price on the phone the other girl in the front desk said she doesnt know how much it would cost and you have to pay. Its such a ripoff if you dont know how much the cost then just say it and dont food a customer.

Ive been going to Dr. Boyden for years. I love the comfortable and friendly atmosphere in the office and they have always been so helpful and accommodating if we have a dental emergency. I also appreciate his honesty with my kids treatments - Ive been scammed by a dentist in the past who told me my child needed unnecessary fillings. I appreciate Dr Boydens thoroughness, but never overly-aggressive dental care.

To bad I cant give 0 stars. My wife went in for some work and was given a plan that would not exceed our Annual Maximum amount for the year. Fast forward several months and now were left with a bill because the quote they gave us wasnt accurate and they ended up exceeding our Annual Maximum. If you go in keep your paper work and your quote and check with your insurance first.

Ive been coming to Boyden Dental for almost two years now and every experience Ive had with them has been exceptional. The receptionist is kind and helpful. Dr. Boyden is a great dentist. I often find my past dentists to be conceited and arrogant but this isnt the case with him. He is humble and genuinely concerned with the comfort and care of his patients.

I had an unfortunate encounter with a gummy bear...it decided to remove my crown 2000 miles from home. Dr. Boyden and his staff were incredible, worked me in the next morning and had me in and out with the crown back on in 15 minutes! If I lived in Salt Lake, I would be a patient for sure.

Dr. Boyden has a great bedside manner and his staff is great. They have always worked with our busy schedule to fit us in and theyre very fair when it comes to price. I have recommended him to a few friends and they have had equally good experiences with him and his staff.

Just about the best dentist and office Ive ever met. They bent over backwards to make sure my kids and I had a good experience. I cant speak more highly of them. I never thought Id like going to the dentist, but I must say this was as good as it gets.
