These guys are great! Dr. Skinner is very patient and he and his staff do their best to make sure you are comfortable even though many times it is not a comfortable reason for being there. I went in for 2 (gasp!) cracked teeth and had to have root canals done ASAP. They were able to fit me into the schedule that week to get both done and I went in again for crowns a week later. We (Dr. Skinner, assistants, and I) were concerned about potential lingering infection so Dr. Skinner prescribed me with antibiotics without hesitating. He was aware they were long procedures and sitting there for that time with my mouth open is not comfortable. He did his best to assist there. Also, the ladies on the phone are very helpful and kind, and really helped me understand the billing process when I had questions. Would (and have) recommend to friends! Thanks for making this potentially frustrating experience a breeze!

Dr skinners error/complication when doing a nerve block for a crown procedure resulted in extreme pain (still in pain after 12 weeks), thousands of dollars to see other specialists and I had to be on a mechanical soft/puréed diet for 3 months. He was very kind when offering me services but as soon as there was a complication, he dismissed me as a patient. I understand complications happen but the way he handled me after the complication is why I give him 0/5 stars. He only offered me a root canal when my issue was not teeth related. He never once saw me after he completed the crowns despite multiple calls to his office expressing extreme pain and he dismissed me as a patient. I was saddened by his treatment of me. I had been his patient for over 4 years and never would have expected total lack of care after he caused me such extreme pain.

I found Dr. Skinner after searching in SLC for a dentist. I decided on Dr. Skinners office because it was inviting and Dr. Skinner did a good job of explaining my options (root canal :( ). I continued going there for two years, and was more and more happy with the service. The office has state of the art equipment and everyone that works at the office is great. They were always flexible with appt scheduling and quick to respond to emails. They went to great lengths to shield me from the awfulness that is dealing with insurance. They made sure that I knew how much I needed to pay and I was never surprised with a bill in the mail. Go there. Youll love it.

Dr. Skinner and his staff are as good as it gets! I was in need of dentist quickly, as I had a terrible toothache and my regular dentist couldnt get me in until the following week. I looked online and found Skinner Dental. They had fantastic reviews, and now I know why. Not only did they get me in that same day, they had a room for my daughter to play in so I didnt have to get a sitter. Now my daughter cant stop talking about the iPad she was allowed to play on, and asks when we can go back. It looks like my regular dentist, is no longer my regular dentist. I will now be visiting Dr. Skinner for my regular maintenance, and would recommend them to anyone!

Thank you for making a last minute appointment for me when I chipped a tooth while I was in Hawaii. It was a very stressful experience. I cannot say enough about how personable the treatment was. From the moment I arrived it was a wonderful experience. I meet with the staff that advised me of the check in procedures. Was surprised to meet Dr Skinner in the lobby. He then took me to the exam room and carefully analyzed the tooth situation. I was very impressed with the quality of care and the personal attention given. Thank you again for your service.

Ive been with Skinners office for a few years now. Ive had three crowns, a root canal, cleanings, and several fillings performed here. The staff are amazing each time I come. I received my crowns in a single visit. Not to mention I was able to see the awesome technology of how they are designed right in house. They are beautiful! I would highly recommend Dr. Skinner for any of your dental needs. You wont be disappointed.

Braces!!! I got braces on August 15 of 2011. Despite what my friends told me about braces I think it is a nice experience. My time in braces has been painless, quick and easy for me to take care of them! Thanks to Dr.Skinner, all the wonderful staff, and the lovely receptionist that make me love coming to the dentist. I find myself excited to go every time! Everyone should get their braces here too! :)

I have been to many dentist offices and Skinner Dental is the only dentist I will go to. The staff is super nice and always helpful. From when you come in they greet you and ask how you are. Dr. Skinner is someone who listens to your needs he gives the best advice on what needs to be done with your dental needs. I Give Skinner Dental a 5 or if there were more stars I would give them a 10!!

Hate going to the dentist but really loved this place. They have very friendly and welcoming staff, are very prompt, I have always been over twenty minutes early to my appointment and am seen within ten minutes of getting there. Dr. Skinner is very friendly and helped put me at ease when filling a cavity. I would highly recommend.

This is the best dentist ever!!!!!!! I just had a root canal done and we were all enjoying listening to comedy acts during and I felt no pain and was actually enjoying my self. The office staff is super friendly and I just love the higenists they are way sweet too. I strongly recommend dr skinner. He's the best,!!!!!!!

The staff is friendly, courteous, and fun. I never have to wait when I come for my appointments. Its also easy to get an appointment in the near future. Dr. Skinner is a very skilled dentist and cares about you as a patient. My mother isnt very good English speaker, but Dr. Skinner really took the time to explain whats going on and what he is going to do for he teeth. Also this place has all the up-to-date technology such as dental crown milling machine.

Wish Id found this place as soon as I moved to Utah in 2009. Im so happy to have found them, the service is EXCELLENT and the staff is so friendly, it feels like home! Im looking forward to my new and improved smile once I complete my ortho process. If you love great service, this HAS to be your dentist.
