This place is highly unprofessional. One word of advice to them organization! The area they do cleanings is chaos. It is a huge open floor it is loud and there were children running all around there is no real order to how they do things. My daughter was taken back to do xrays and there was a line of people in the tiny hallway to get xrays done my nervous 4 year old had an audience for the entire set of xrays. The Hygienist was very good and sweet and honestly the best thing about this place. Dr. Wade is the most unprofessional Dentist I have ever encountered. My Daughter had extensive damage done to her four front teeth and they were in need of serious help. After he looked at them in this huge room with tons of other children, parents and conversations he huddled in the corner with me to tell me his plan which he whispered to me I am sure for confidentiality reasons but I could barely hear him above all the noise in this room. He said his solution was to extract them then gave me some sort of explanation that was barely audible then he got up and left. Didnt ask if I had any questions of which I had several he just told me to go to the front desk where they would set up the next appointment. I tried getting more answers about the procedure from the receptionist but she was too concerned that we didnt have dental insurance. I had told her on the phone we were self pay, once again when she asked when we arrived and one more time while I was paying that we were self pay. Money for the procedure was not an issue as we had the cash to pay and it didnt matter if we had dental insurance or not. She wouldnt drop it she told me that I would need to fill out info for financing. I said NO we have the money to pay out of pocket. She pulled the financing papers away and said "Okay I guess." I was in shock about them "needing" to extract her teeth and annoyed that I had been give such a terrible run around and no answers. My husband called the next day to get more answers and got the run around again. It took him 3 phone calls to discover this dentists plan was to remove the teeth and leave the gap until her adult teeth came in, in 2-3 years! He told them to cancel the appointment that is when they made a very small effort to get us to keep the appointment. Over all they seemed like they didnt care they were loosing our business. We took her to a different dentist (where we ended up having it done) and he was surprised that such an invasive procedure would even be suggested. We were told the only reason for that kind of an extraction is if the root was gone or there was infection. Neither of which was the case in our daughter. He put porcelain caps on her front teeth and they look good as new. I thought we were done with Hillfield but nope the day before the cancelled procedure was to have taken place they called to confirm the appointment! I told them we had cancelled that appointment almost a month ago and her teeth had already been fixed by another dentist. She told me that they might still have to charge me for canceling at the last minute! I had my husband call and no we didnt see a bill from them for their serious lack of organization.

I have been going here with my family since i was 7 years old. I am now 23 and i USED TO take my daughter, my husband, and myself to go get work done here. I wish we didnt have to switch but i have gotten snapped at, twice for absolutely no reason. I called yesterday to cancel an appointment, (which i didnt even know about.) And this lady named AMANADA CAINE answered the phone. Right away when i started asking her questions the tone of her voice with me became very uncomfortable and I had to ask for someone else to talk to because she had made me cry. I am 6 months pregnant and I do not agree with the way she was speaking to me. I will not be going back here with my little family because of this incident and because of the last incident a couple months ago. I am very saddened that they do not speak to their employees about having professional manners when it comes to dealing with clients. I felt very uncomfortable very offended as well as threatened because Amanda had told me she was in charge. I could not believe someone in charge would ever make someone feel uncomfortable. If anything she should have tried to help me with my problem but instead she snapped at me I had to get transfered to another lady named Karen in order for me to find out what was going on because Amanda had made me feel uncomfortable. I am a manager myself and would never talk to any of my customers this way. I hope maybe someone will read this and actually take immediate action because they will lose business like this and loyal customers. Like i said it saddens me that we have to move on to another dentist because of how unprofessional some people are there. If they can treat a 6 month pregnant woman this way I will not be taking my 2 year old daughter as well as my husband or I anymore. It used to be a great place, not now. I would definitely recommend a place where they care about your feelings and your business.

Had a few issues with this place. Two early morning appointments were cancelled last minute. The first is understandable as they said the dentist was sick that morning. The 2nd because the dentist refused to perform minor procedure unless my child was sedated, despite her receiving same care in the past without sedation. Appt was for 7:30 and they called at 7 to cancel after waiting over a week for the appt. They also push for expensive and unnecessary procedures. Child had a tooth issue and they automatically insisted he needed a root canal without first testing the tooth and nerves to see if the tooth will live. Turns out the tooth will more than likely live and a root canal is not needed. Stay away from this place unless you like wasting money, putting your child through necessary pain, and putting up with bad customer service.

My son was running around with friends outside when he ended up chipping both top front teeth!! It was a week before school picture day and he was devastated!! My son hasnt needed much dental work done and was a little anxious about it and he was nervous. We took him in to Hillfield Pediatric Dentistry and they were able to get us an appointment quickly! They also gave us a discount as it was just before our insurance kicked in and we were paying cash. Then receptionist was so kind and wonderful!! The dentist was amazing! He distracted my son, gave him the numbing shot and my boyfriend was super impressed at how quickly and well the dentist did this! Then they fixed his teeth and they look great!! I will definitely go back here!

They have poor service.. My son was scheduled for a sedation so he could have his teeth fixed that were bothering him.. On the day of the appointment he missed school we were ready to leave he hadnt eaten all day! I get a call from them saying that his appointment was changed till 3pm mind you his original appointment was a 10:30! They said they never got conformation... Which they did! So now my son has to wait all day to eat because they dont have their paperwork straight! They refused to see him at his original appointment time! I refuse to ever let my children be seen there ever again!
