I had a terrible experience, obviously... on a positive note... the office was clean and easy to find. That being said, my bad experience began with calling the receptionist. My issue was actually not something that dermatologists even deal with, and that would have been nice to know before I made my appointment three weeks out. After I waited in the office for almost 20 minutes, I was seen. I told him my issue, and his reaction was to tell me the exact thing I had just told him. He then told me he would remove a few other things, yadda yadda... well, it turns out the yadda yadda bill was OUTRAGEOUS! Especially considering I didnt get my issue resolved AT ALL. It has now been three months, my issue has not been resolved, and I owe tons of money. I called the billing office three times to have this resolved. Twice they were in training, and it was obvious it wasnt in bedside manner. When I finally was able to talk to a human, she was rude and condescending. She acted confused by my call, and had zero empathy. I paid in full to receive a 10% discount and she acted like I should be over the moon. I am so disappointed. I will never trust a dermatologist again, especially with the University of Utah. Sucks, cause I love the Us healthcare usually... tldr: ask how much things will be BEFORE getting anything done, and if you need surgery, call a surgeon. Dermatologists dont even begin to help.
