I couldnt be happier with the care I received from this office. I had the pleasure of working with Brian Rodriguez and his aides, mostly Thomas. They were very personal, friendly, and accommodating to my schedule. The office is very neat and well kept, they always made sure to clean the equipment after each use. I didnt have any accidents or any specific injuries, but it was my constant back pain, rolled shoulders, anterior pelvic tilt, and overall discomfort from my desk job that brought me to this place - I felt like an old lady and Im only 23! Brian evaluated me and immediately found my weaknesses and root cause to my symptoms. We worked very closely over the course of 2 months, and every week, I looked forward to coming in. My exercise plan was tailor made for me and now that I finished the therapy, I feel stronger than ever. My body has recognized and is using the muscles that were once dormant, which are crucial for good posture. I had much better results in just the 3 weeks of receiving therapy compared to the one year of walk in/out of weekly adjustments from the chiropractor. Just forget about the chiropractors, it seemed like they were only treating my symptoms so I kept coming back to them. Brian made it very clear to me that we would treat the cause, so that eventually, I wouldnt need him anymore. Im very happy with my results, and will continue to do my home exercises. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Ive been seeing Dr. Brian Rodriguez for the last 4 weeks and I am so happy with the results I have gotten in such a short amount of time. I was in a car accident at 38 weeks pregnant, and although our injuries were not life threatening, the hormone Relaxin that I was producing was making all of my joints very lose in preparation for birth. The result was severe whiplash that caused back pain, shoulder pain and neck pain. After seeing a chiropractor and a pain specialist, I was still having neck pain and having awful migraines. After 4 weeks with Brian, my headaches have almost completely gone away! Dont underestimate the advantage of physical therapy, it hase been a lifesaver for me to be able to care for myself and 2 young children. If youve been in a accident or have been injured, they will take care of you at Utah Physical Therapy Specialist. The staff is friendly, welcoming and attentive, and I have always left feeling satisfied with my care.

I was referred to Chelsey King, Physical Therapist, for my ankle therapy. It was a great experience, I truly noticed a difference from one session to the next. The staff is friendly and amazing. Everyone is willing to help out. My first visit with Chelsey was an analysis of my pain and flexibility for my ankle. She then provided me with a couple of exercises to do at home until the next visit two days later. As my ankle progressed, additional in session exercises were added and removed as well as for home. It was very beneficial to have the easy to do exercises at home in between and also after I finished my therapy as I needed. I cant say enough about the ease of scheduling my appointments, very convenient times available that accommodated for my work schedule. I would recommend this team of amazing specialists to anyone, in fact, I am referring my daughter to them for her headaches. Thank you for everything!

I was referred to the Utah Physical Specialists after experiencing sharp knee pain from running. Brian Rodriguez, DPT provided excellent care. He was patient with me as I described my knee pain and was very comprehensive with his treatment. He studied my running mechanics as well as my general musculature using film and a series of tests, finally determining the root cause to be in my hips. I was very pleased with the way Brian explained how exactly his remedy exercises would help me. He was very generous with recommendations of exercises and techniques to do beyond the therapy aspect -- specifically, he explained the importance of cadence during sustained running. Within the 3 weeks of my first visit, I have improved my swimming, increased my squat and lunge maxes, and restored my ability and confidence to run. Brian Rodriguez is an excellent Physical Therapist, and I highly recommend him.

I was referred to work with Brian Rodriguez by my brother who is also a Physical Therapist. I worked with Brian on some back problems and after the first consultation, he addressed the issue and we started to get to work on it the first visit. I immediately could feel and see a change in my back and legs after working with Brian. What I also liked is that Brian set a time table for me to get better, which is a lot better than having to guess how long I would have to continue to do PT. We set a goal for a specific number of visits and I was able to reach those goals so the focus was on my improvement, not on how many more visits they could get out of me. After several visits I can see a major difference and know what I need to do to overcome my pain and manage it in the future. I highly recommend working with him and would recommend him to any close friend or family member.

With Utah Physical Therapy Specialists, there was no wait time to get me started in a program. Erinlee and her team worked just as hard on my recovery, as they expected out of me. Everyone was so helpful and informative about my injuries. I had a 6 year old hip injury that was getting worse that I had never taken care of before. Being a 30 year old ballerina with an injury was very difficult to continue dancing, and was restricting what I loved to do. After 6 weeks of physical therapy, the pain is gone in my hip, and I am now able to jump again in ballet! Now I have a long-term program I do at home that helps me continue to succeed physical and keeps my strength up so I can continue my passion of dancing! I would highly recommend anyone to Utah Physical Therapy Specialists!

Brain and his team are great! I am a student at the University of Utah and I performed my first internship with Brian for the months of Sept,Oct,Nov, and December of 2015. I had the opportunity to interact with Brian while he worked with many of his patients. Brian was consistantly thinking of his patients and what else he could do to help them. Their best interests were always at the forefront of his mind. Brain truly cares about everyone that walks through his front doors. Not only does Brian keep up to date on current evidence based treatments but he makes a priority to apply them in his practice and teaches his patients how they can recover. Rest assured that you will receive great care when you decide to have your physical therapy needs met at Utah Physical Therapy Specialists!

I have been struggling with back and neck pain and tension for several years. I have tried 3 months of going to a chiropractor (which did help the joints but not my muscles) and I tried an orthopedic doctor (which got me pointed in the right direction but was not enough). I visited Dr. Brian Rodriguez for 10 weeks and I am feeling better than I have in years! The exercises I have done both in the office and at home have been what I needed to release tension and strengthen my muscles. Dr. Rodriguez is positive, upbeat, and a very proficient practitioner. The office staff was very friendly and I felt comfortable in the office, plus I was really grateful for the early appointments at 7 a.m. that are available. I would highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez and his practice!
