I am a senior citizen having just completed 4 weeks (8 sessions) of treatment for a knee and a shoulder. My primary Therapist is Mark Anderson, supported by a small team of helpful, competent and cheerful assistants. I have been very pleased with the way all them approach treatment with care, attention and thoughtfulness. I have lived for decades with an increasing level of pain in my knee and shoulder, and had thought all that time from occasional visits with surgeons that someday I would need joint replacements, until my most recent surgeon sent me to Mark to see what physical therapy could do for me. I was skeptical but anxious to give it a try, despite not having obtained any improvement after prior physical therapy for my shoulder. i was delighted to feel a small amount of improvement even after the first session, and I continued to get a little bit better each week. For the first time in years I was able to complete a two full rounds of 18 holes of golf over the last week, rather than have to quit after a few holes or sit out multiple holes because of pain and loss of control of my swing. By the 6th treatment, I was hitting the ball further and more accurately, and able to walk with little discomfort. I am very pleased by my care and look forward to seeing the folks that work at the Millcreek facility as well as observing over the next few days to see what improvements may have developed that week.

David McGill is a very effective therapist and the entire staff at Mt. Land is very helpful and efficient. I was suffering from significant neck pain which limited my necks range of motion. As a result, it had become increasingly difficult to play golf or ride my road bike. I had a lot of arthritis in my neck and was skeptical that physical therapy would help. Fortunately, I gave Dave a shot and he really helped me with massage, stretching and range of motion therapy and a variety of exercises that have strengthened my upper back and improved my posture. I am now virtually pain free and have a lot more range of motion and am back to my normal recreational activities. He also helped me with the range of motion of my right wrist. I recently had had carpel tunnel surgery and although my wrist was feeling better my range of motion was still limited. He helped break down the scar tissue that was the key to the problem and gave me massage and stretching exercises which have significantly improved my wrists range of motion.

Ive often had the belief if an individual lives an active lifestyle then outside of a surgery or something abnormal and major physical therapy isnt necessary; however, I was wrong. Because of my recent physical therapy experience, Ive had a complete paradigm shift and Ive learned physical therapy is for the fit and not so fit. There is a place for all regardless of an individuals fitness level because physical therapy isnt about fitness levels and understanding a few exercises. To me, physical therapy is about understanding the body and acknowledging if the body is speaking (resonating pain) then something isnt right and it needs to be fixed. My recent physical therapy experience changed me from a non-believer to a believer because I learned that my body was trying to tell me something that was beyond my understanding and skill and a solution was possible. The best part, I learned that life without pain is possible and before I started this physical therapy journey I wasnt so sure. Thanks Jason - You taught me this!

After 7 years and multiple shoulder surgeries including two replacements it finally all ended with an amazing doctor and an amazing physical therapist. Ive been to many different physical therapists over the years so please know this review is based on a LOT of experience. Mark Anderson at MillCreek is clearly at the top of his field. His genuine concern and knowledge and his desire to provide the best care possible provided me with the opportunity to finally receive the care I needed. I will always be grateful to you Mark and to all the Staff at MillCreek who were always pleasant, professional and caring. I wish you the best.

Mountain Land Physical Therapy is an oasis of healing. I went in for a running examination and consultation. I realized that I was running all wrong. Can you believe that? Since changing my ways, and implementing Dr. Maws suggestions, I run pain free every day. Im working toward a marathon now, which means Ill be back into Mountain Land Physical Therapy after running my first marathon ravages my health. Ill be expecting them to put me back together again because I know they will. Theyre just that good. Humpty Dumpty didnt need all the kings horses and all the kings men, he simply needed Mountain Land Physical Therapy.

Recently, I was in a car accident and totaled my car. Realizing that I had several non-life-threatening injuries and yet was in a lot of pain for several weeks, it was suggested that I try massage therapy. I have had massage therapy over the years but never for this kind of pain. After finding out that Kim Johnstun Kendall, L.M.T., was at Mountain Land Physical Therapy, I decided to book an appointment. I have gone several times now and am very impressed with her knowledge of helping to heal my body. Thank you for speeding up the healing process and for your professionalism in dealing with my recovery.

I went to Mountain Land Physical Therapy to complete my recovery from a broken fibula. Sam Maw, with the support of the friendly and competent Mountain Land staff, did excellent work. The exercises were exactly what I needed to feel stable and strong again in my ankle. I felt like I got an education in good health practices in addition to healing from my injury. If I ever have another problem that can be helped by physical therapy, I know I can trust Mountain Land Physical Therapy to give me good results.

We appreciate Sam Maws attention to our elderly mothers overall health. He was very sensitive & workable to rescheduling when she came to an appointment unable to do it. He was also very caring and considerate with her. And fun!! Her stability, balance and strength improved remarkably and she now has the tools and exercises to be able to continue some on her own at home. She was very pleased to have "graduated"! Thank you so much for your care and professionalism.

I am able to hike with significantly reduced pain thanks to the expertise of the staff at Mountain Land. Its been an educational journey of learning more about my body and balancing muscle strength. I am very happy to get outdoors and take photos while hiking again! I was supervised by David McGill who I found very knowledgeable and encouraging. The attitude of all the staff and aides at Mountain Land was superb. Would definitely recommend.
