I lived in Herndon with my 5 children for 7 years. My 3 girls seemed to be cursed, due to other medical problems, when it came to their teeth. They were always having one problem after another. I found Dr Patel when my oldest daughter was only 1. Her front 2 teeth had almost decayed to nothing in a matter of weeks. Dr Patel got her in and fixed her up almost immediately. He was the most caring and funniest dentist I had every encountered. Even in scary situations he makes the children happy and its as if they dont even realize they are having any work done. The staff is truly loving as well. They will treat your child as their own. The office is so high tech its viewed as a treat for my children. They have two childrens rooms filled with games and movies to entertain the young ones and older ones while you wait to get in and as you take care of paperwork. We moved to the Front Royal/ Luray area and looked for another pediatric dentist in our area. After a year and many tears, the childrens and mine, I realized that we would never find another dentist even close to Dr Patel. I now drive almost 2 hours just to get my kids to him and I dont think twice about it. He is worth every minute, and more, of drive time. I only wish he saw adults as well! Thank you Dr Patel for 10 years of amazing service!

Dr. Patel is an excellent Pediatric Dentist, he is soft spoken, patient and kind. He designed his office himself, with his patients and staff in mind. He wanted an environment that is inviting for young children, as well as his young adult patients. He has a game area designed for his younger patients and separate exam rooms for his younger clients. On the flip side is for your teens, game room and exam rooms. The decor is beautiful creating a peaceful calm atmosphere. Details in the craftsmanship so that there is a place for everything, efficient and spotlessly clean all details worked out with a fine tooth comb for himself and his staff. All of his staff greet you with smiles, and are very courteous and great with your children. In addition to all of this Dr. Patel is extremely skilled at his craft. My children have been going to Dr. Patel since they were little and continue to through their adolescence. I cannot image moving them to any other mainstream dentistry.

Dr Patel is an extraordinary dentist! When we first moved to Ashburn, we followed a friends recommendation and chose a pediatric dentist across the street from our neighborhood. Within three weeks, our daughter fell and had a tooth emergency! Lo and behold, our new dentist was nowhere to be found, and Dr. Patel was the dentist on call. He took us in immediately, and treated my almost two year old with a smile that was reassuring to both of us. 9 years later, and both my kids see Dr. Patel for their Dental Care. He and his staff are kind, professional, and always ready with a joke for the kids. Such a joy! Their new office is beautiful, with a separate space for teenagers and even an air hockey machine! Kids watch movies while they sit in the dental chair, and there are lots of chairs for parents. There is a cavity free Club, and the kids get tokens at the end of their cleaning to collect a prize. We are very happy!

1 review 5.0 star rating 12/15/2016 Ive taken all three of my girls here for at least 7 years. The office is bright and nicely decorated and fun to walk in to. The girls enjoy the game rooms and the access to screens to watch during their cleanings, procedures etc. Dr. Patel, the hygienists and the staff are friendly and do everything they can to make the kids comfortable. Weve had multiple extractions and procedures over the years. The private rooms make it easier for the kids and for me. They are very thorough in explaining everything that will and should happen. The front staff is communicative and provide all of the details that I might need to know. We also see Dr. Joe for two of my girls braces. He is also friendly with the kids and very clear in communicating with parents. I highly recommend this office.

I took my very worried 4-year-old for her first dental visit, and I couldnt be happier with our experience! She was a little teary, but everyone we encountered did their best to calm her fears. The office staff was pleasant and welcoming. Our hygienist was beyond patient with my nervous little girl. She stopped when she saw her tear up, and took extra time to explain what she was going to do, and to make her feel comfortable. Dr. Patel was enthusiastic and funny, and she loved him! He also thoroughly answered my questions and gave suggestions and things to look for in the future. My daughter left the office feeling proud of herself for overcoming her fear of visiting the dentist. She said, "That wasnt so bad, and now I wont be worried any more!" I think she is actually looking forward to going back!

The best pediatric dental center! The entire office is set up for kids with a separate area for teens. Everyone is friendly, helpful and courteous. Dr Patel and his staff thought of the needs of the kids in setting up the office, cleaning rooms and exams rooms to keep the kids calm and entertained. Dr Patel explains everything to the kids in ways they will understand. He explains everything to parents in ways they will understand and partners with parents for their childs dental health. All of the dental staff are wonderful with the kids and take the time needed to ensure the kids have a positive experience everytime they visit the dentist.

My daughter recently visited Ashburn Pediatric Dental Center for her routine x-ray and cleaning. Unfortunately, she had a cavity…. Dr. Patel and his staff turned this typically terrifying experience into the exact opposite. I am not sure if it was his demeanor or the high tech cool office that allowed my daughter to feel at ease and not even realize what was going on. I have personally recommended Dr. Patel and his staff to many parents and would strongly encourage anyone seeking a pediatric dentist in the area to visit them. I have been taking my son to see Dr. Patel & Dr. Joe for over 5 years now. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and my son feels comfortable going in for check ups and cleanings! 2 years ago my son got braces. This was a whole new adventure for me as I myself never had them. One evening after hours we had a dental emergency due to his braces and both doctors responded quickly and could not have been more helpful. I recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist who cares not only for your childs teeth, but their over all well being :)

Great Visit!!! Dr. Patel and his staff did an excellent job, overall, for my sons first dentist visit. My son was nervous for his first visit and as soon as we were in the office he was attracted to the game room. This completely made him calm and happy. No wait time-- we were seen immediately. The assistant was calm and made him at ease and did a good job. Dr. Patel made the whole experience easy and simple. He was responsive and answered all our questions. My son has already started telling his friends at school about his visit with Dr. Patel.
