When my husband claimed he found the best dentist with all of these great reviews, I joked that they had people leave them on the way out... The bottom line? My husband has found a few dentists he claimed were great. I hate the dentist. Most of them are awkward, have zero personalities, and do nothing to calm the fear many of us have. In fact, I didnt even make an appointment here. Nope. Nope. Nope. But, my husband made the appointment for me. And instead of a dental hygienist who spent the whole time lecturing me on my failed dental care, I got a kind person, who didnt seem to judge my misguided attempts at dental health. Next, I saw the dentist. Dr. Reeves is amazing. He is innovative and up on the latest dental care. He also isnt going to use fancy tools and devices that he doesnt quite know how to use (like some dentists in the Ashburn area will). So, after I had my cleaning, I made a few more appointments. The first being the half missing tooth in the back of my mouth. He expertly removed the remainder of the cavity, and did something magical so I could avoid an implant and instead get a cap. He also really has a great bedside manner and realizes that while as nice as he is, the last place most people want to be, is at the dentist. I think he spent a good portion of his time telling me I was not actually at the dentist but with my kids for a halloween party. After that magic, I was fitted with a temporary cap. I had to come back in later in the day because my bite was still off. And while I was grateful they brought be back so quickly, they seemed happy that I wasnt mad. I was also expecting a lot of pain that day and the next few. Nope, no pain. Okay, maybe some minor aches. But that was from the Novocaine shots. Honestly... I cannot tell you enough how honest these reviews are. This dentist is a needle in the haystack, and I am excited to have finally found someone who both knows what they are doing and has a calming bedside manner.

Dr. Carter Reeves & his wife Liz are absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend this dental practice enough. After ignoring my dental health for 10 years, Dr. Reeves is helping me get things back on track. After starting work on a broken tooth that needed a crown, I developed agonizing pain in a different area of my mouth, and ended up calling the office on a Saturday afternoon, expecting to leave a message and hoping to hear back form someone on Monday. Dr. Reeves answered the phone himself, which I could not believe! He was very concerned about the amount of pain I was in, and called in a painkiller prescription for me and set up the soonest appointment that worked for my schedule. I ended up calling to get in sooner and Jennifer, their lovely patient care coordinator, helped me immediately and got me in within a few hours. Im not a fan of needles, so I asked if Liz would hold my hand while Dr. Reeves gave me the numbing shot, and she happily obliged, making me feel very at ease. After starting on a second crown today, I feel like Im well on my way to a much healthier mouth. Im so grateful for their kind and caring approach! I ask A LOT of question, and Dr. Reeves always happily answers them, which I genuinely appreciate. Dr. Reeves and Liz make me feel like a friend rather than a paycheck, and that means a lot to me. My entire family has been so impressed with the level of care that Im receiving, so much so that both of my parents have made appointments with Dr. Reeves already. Call - you will not be disappointed!

Let me tell you: I have had some awful dentists as a kid and young adult that provided experiences SO terrible that I still get anxious whenever I have to get work done on my teeth. At Fi Dental, my anxiety is nonexistant. The staff (from the desk staff to the dentists) are soooo amazingly caring and knowledgable. They genuinely care about you as a patient and as a person. They do whatever they can to make your experience pain-free and comfortable! Plus, they have a lot of really cool, innovative tools that help with the process (like a camera to take digital pictures of your teeth!). I had three fillings today, and Dr. Carter was very caring during the entire process. What made it even better is how he went above and beyond to explain every step of the process as he did the fillings. During both of my visits to this facility, I have not felt rushed at all. At many dentists, they try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. At Fi Dental, they refuse to sacrifice quality and will NOT rush through just to get done. I felt like a person who mattered rather than just a number and a dollar! Really, I cant say enough about how amazing this place is. Theyre accommodating, kind, and informative. As long as I live here, I will be going to Fi Dental!!

I have never been a big fan of doctor and dental offices. However, all that changed with First Impression Dental. At first, I was very impressed with the beautiful office décor, state of the art technology and warm family atmosphere, which makes you feel welcome and at ease from the start. Yet, what makes First Impression so special is Dr Reeves. Granted, he is a great dentist, but his patience and caring make him very unique; he never rushes his patients; instead, he takes the time to explain everything he is doing and makes sure you are never in any discomfort. In addition, Dr Reeves doesnt just look for the ordinary treatment as other dentists typically do, but instead looks for solutions that are going to make you look and feel your best. Before I saw him, I was very conscious and therefore did not smile much; however, smiling has become much more natural after my treatment; even my wife noticed that and is encouraging me to finish the remaining couple of teeth soon. I highly recommend First Impression Dental to anyone looking for another dentist. I promise you will be in for a wonderful surprise and will never be disppointed!

Wow—what an experience! First Impression is like no other dentist Ive ever been to. This place has it all. Electronic registration, amazingly friendly staff (give you a tour of the facility on your first visit) to one of the nicest, patient-focused, most intelligent dentists Ive come across in Dr. Carter Reeves. I recently needed two cavities repaired. My first visit, which I thought was for a cleaning was complimentary. Dr. Reeves was so concerned about my cavities that he asked me to swing by on my way home so that he could check me out. Who does that? The procedure itself was the most comfortable Ive ever been in a dentist chair. Dr. Reeves explained everything, from the nerves in my tongue and cheek to the tools he would be using. Unlike other dentists Ive been to, who numb the teeth and then drill away, Dr. Reeves made sure on more than one occasion that my gums were definitely numb by performing a touch test. I quickly realized that my lower left tooth wasnt completely numb to which he quickly added an additional numbing agent and we were off to the races. This place is amazing!

I’m not a review-writer. I’m also historically not a dentist-go’er. Somewhere on FI’s site, the word “coward” is used— that’s me. I was in excruciating dental pain earlier this summer and contacted FI through their site after reading some glowing reviews. I made an appointment via email a few hours after that initial contact. I went and confessed to years of dental neglect but Dr. Reeves and his staff immediately put me at ease. Together we put established a plan of treatment to immediately deal with what was causing pain and we’ve gone from there to a point where I’m almost ready for the usual cleaning and maintenance routine — I never really imagined being at that point. The path has involved an extraction, root canal, replacement of old crowns, and some good old fashioned cavity-fixing. His office is top-notch and state of the art. He -never- rushes and always helps me relax. There aren’t enough superlatives or stars for me to heap upon him and his team. I recommend FI without reservation and give them my heartfelt thanks for what they have done for me. -Chris
