I went in for some dental work as I had a tooth ache and I wanted a good honest dentist as they were hard to find. Their hours were convenient to my needs and they took me promptly. Dr. Michelle Wear spoke with me, xrays were completed and I really felt the dentist, front staff and were honest. I had to get scaling done as previous dentists that I had went to did not adequately perform their cleaning. I was informed that I had to get a series of cleanings and it would be over $1600.00. After I left, I contacted my insurance to ensure that the process would be covered. They informed me that they covered 80%. Before I was taken back on my first appointment, the staff member for billing went over everything with me and informed me what my payments. I wanted to verify again that this would be covered by insurance. She even looked it up on her computer and said that my insurance would cover 80%. Eric was my hygenist and he was awesome. I was so impressed that I made an appointment for my son. After the initial consultation, I paid $139.00 and was told that insurance would reimburse me. They did. I paid $454.00 after my first appointment and insurance covered a lot of it as I received a check. The second appointment, I paid $454.00 again and once again, insurance covered most of it. On 6/13, I went in for my third appointment. Once again, $454.00 was paid. I checked and checked the mail. After my fourth appointment, yesterday, I paid $454.00. The staff member who took the money asked if I had received reimbursements. I told her I was and hadnt received the once from the 13th, but I hadnt checked the mail this week and I was sure it was there. I checked the mail last night and still no check. I called my insurance today and they said that it covered 80%, but there was a maximum of $1000.00 for dental services a year. I reviewed my insurance information prior and that is why I contacted the representative of the insurance company as it was not clear. I also had the Premier Dental billing staff member look at the insurance and once again, she did not state their was $1000.00 maximum. I contacted my insurance and gave them a good talking to. Then I contacted Premier Dental and informed them about the situation. I believe her name was Tara. I explained the situation of the insurance and told her that I verified prior, etc. She said, yes, there was only $1000.00 maximum. I was shocked that it was right there on her computer. I said, "It would have been nice to know that there was a maximum especially since I even asked you to verify any additional and you informed me that they would cover 80%. You never mentioned anything about a maximum." She said, "We tell you there are no guarantees of insurance covereage and you should already be aware of your maximum allowance." There was no empathy, accountability or even an apology for the oversight in the explanation. I would have been more than understanding as we are all human and people make mistakes. Therefore, I asked her to cancel my next appointment and after thinking about it, I called back and canceled the appointment for my son. It is so disappointing as I was very impressed with the hygenists, front staff and Dr. Wear. I thought I had finally found an honest, professional dentist practice to take my family to. However, I guess I am going to take my business elsewhere.

Okay, I have to be honest. I am a dental hygienist employed at Premiere Dental Arts but I have to share why I think Premiere Dental Arts is a top notch practice. I have been employed here for almost 26 years, first as a Certified Dental Assistant and now as a Dental Hygienist. I have seen so many patients with poor dental care come through our doors from other practices. We go the extra mile to make sure our patients here are cared for, like we would care for our own family members. I have made many close friendships with my patients over the years. Many of our patients still come to see us even though we are "Out of Network". There is a reason you wont find us on any list of participating practices: We believe in quality care for our patients. We dont want to have to rush through their appointments in order to see enough patients to make up for the difference in what the insurance covers. I have temped in that kind of practice to help out a friend. The hygienist has a limited amount of time to see their patient and things were being missed. Their philosophy ~ "well they are cleaner than they were when they walked in the door". Im sorry, but I couldnt work in a practice that didnt respect their patients enough to be as thorough as possible. We have many payment options and work with those patients who need to spread out payments. You will definitely feel a difference when you walk through our doors. Let us be your familys dentist! You wont be disappointed!

My dentist was retiring and I needed to find someone as gentle and trustworthy as I found him to be. After asking many people about who they see for their dental care and getting some good recommendations, a friend told me she sees Dr. Wear. I had to really press the issue to get her to tell me more. I think like many of us who would prefer not to influence someones decision, she was reluctant to suggest that I switch to Premiere Dental Arts. When she finally gave in and simply said that she trusts Dr. Wear, that was the clincher for me, I was sold. Dr. Wear and her staff took excellent care of me at my initial appointment and then again when I subsequently needed a crown. Eric did a great job cleaning my teeth and shared many helpful pointers about how to better care for them. Dr. Wear and Donna made getting a crown so much less traumatic for me with their gentle care and extremely capable expertise. I feel so much better knowing that I have a dental practice that I can go to without hesitation. The office staff are kind, welcoming, and efficient. I highly recommend Premiere Dental Arts.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! This office is absolutely wonderful!!! Ive been going here for several years now and heres why: Scheduling is done efficiently and effectively and I never have to wait in the waiting room for more than a minute or two. All the office staff are extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. The dentists, dental assistants, and dental hygienists that have provided me care are extremely professional and appear incredibly competent in what they do. They are extremely thorough, they take the time to explain options for treatment and care, they go through costs and work with you to deal with any unexpected insurance or billing issues, and they all make every effort to make sure you are satisfied with every aspect of their care. I have been to terribly managed dental offices in the past and I am so glad I found this office. I am all about customer service and in my book, this office gets the HIGHEST MARKS for outstanding customer service and dental care. If you are looking for a new dental care provider, look no further, you will not be disappointed!!!
