Not happy with this place so we switched, but not soon enough! We had a couple issues here and there where I was told my insurance didnt cover flouride, but I did it anyway and paid for it. Then, I would find out later I had a credit on my account because it was indeed covered. However, I found out from my husband because when he would go to pay for his services they would tell him there was credit on my account to transfer. I was never notified of their mistakes. I figured it wasnt too bad because it was small and they did let him transfer so it was used within our family. Another issue came when I had scheduled a future appointment and then called to change it because I got my work schedule and needed it moved. They suggested the week before and I agreed. Not until after I had my appointment was I told that my insurance didnt cover less than 6 months in between my appointments. They should have looked that up when scheduling, just like my new dentist office did without me even having to ask. They said that they couldnt do anything about it and I ended up paying way more than I should have. They didnt even offer a discount for not checking the dates before scheduling. My husband had a 8am appointment scheduled one time which he arrived at 7:45am for and he had to sit in his car until 8:15am for someone to finally open the office doors. Totally unacceptable! Dont schedule your patients for an 8am appointment if no one is ready to take them at that time! The dental assistants were okay, but the fact that you only see the dentist for a minute and they dont really even look at your teeth is frustrating. What am I paying for?! When we made the decision to switch to another practice, I called to check if there were any credits on my account. I was told there was $40, but they wouldnt do it over the phone, only in person. I thought that was strange, but whatever. My husband stopped in one time and tried to get it, but they wouldnt let him because it was technically under my name, even though we have a shared account and I had talked to them over the phone. I eventually got over there and was told that they dont do reimbursements right away, but it takes 4-5 weeks to process. Why was I not told this over the phone and why cant they start it over the phone and pick it up in person when its actually ready?! Anyway, I said thats fine. She looked up my account and then told me I didnt have a credit. Are you kidding me? The money just disappeared then... She looked through my husbands account, then mine again, and nothing. I dont understand how this could have happened since I had called and was told there was a credit. This place is so frustrating! Never recommending this place!

Interesting that the owners only respond to positive comments, and completely ignore the people who were unhappy. I give a 2 because while the providers and some of the staff are amazing, the new medical director/ owners and many of the admin staff are horrendous. I had a procedure, that I was self paying for, and was given a quote. AFTER I paid what I was quoted, and AFTER there were complications, and AFTER I was belittled and degraded by the front end staff that was covering lady for the AMAZING lady that normally works there. AFTER all of that I was told I owed another $1000!!!! When I needed to see the doctor because of the complication, I was told no, because I "Did not pay"! But I did. I paid what I was quoted! I then contacted the medical director, who set up the appointment with the dentist, who again is amazing. She did find that there was some thing she could fix, but I was still in pain, and told I might need another $3,500 in treatments for the issue. Oh did I mention at this point it was 3 months and over $10,000 I had already paid? But the dentist who is amazing, said to wait a little longer, to see if the pain resolved. I was OK with what she said, a bit irritated, but OK. Still in crazy pain, my face was swollen and it was so painful I was in tears, and I have a crazy high pain tolerance. Then the Medical Director said to me, "Now that that is fixed, when do you plan on paying us the remaining balance?" NEVER! I paid what the office quoted me! I paid it in full BEFORE the procedure was done, and the fact that the staff ordered the "wrong thing" is not my problem! Yes, it might be an expensive mistake your staff made, but that is YOUR PROBLEM, not the patients! When someone paid you over $10k in 3 months you plan to argue over $1k?!?!?!? I have REALLY bad teeth, in the time I was seeing them I did over $30k in procedures for me alone, sure there was another $10k in work I still need, but no. I would rather pay more and not be treated rudely and have people try to extort me for their mistakes. I stopped taking my entire family and stopped referring my patients to them after this.

I had to delay the second half of the treatment for the next year of my insurance benefits. They insisted on me paying the full amount regardless of the fact that the treatment was incomplete! They kept sending me bills every month with growing balance and threats about collection agency .... I discussed the issue with the manager several times by phone trying to explain that i dont have to pay for the thing that was not done yet but she kept saying that i have to pay now for the crown i havent even received (!!!) And only after we went there with my husband to "talk" to the manager in person and asked for the refund, she finally agreed to put my file on hold and adjust all the interest at the end of the treatment! They said that I needed one more procedure and gave me the estimate which is why I decided to wait for more money from the insurance. And here the great news came: I was waiting like 6 months for that procedure to be done thinking that my insurance will pay the biggest portion of the cost and it turned out that my insurance plan DOES NOT COVER THIS PROCEDURE AT ALL!!! Seriously??? So they gave me completely WRONG ESTIMATE! And not like $50 more ! it was like nothing at all from the insurance side !!! So instead of paying $110 I paid almost $500 for that procedure plus waited so much to only find out that I have to pay in full myself! Craziness!!! They used some of my credits and I ended up paying more then I was going to! So I realized that you have to check and follow every step they take when billing you! Like NO TRUST AT ALL! plus its hard to receive the accurate estimate at that office as every single employee will give you her own unique estimate after doing long math on the piece of paper! So its just too much of a headache and a lot of time wasting arguing with them over every single bill! But the worst of all is absolute LACK OF TRUST!
