. I love Relaxed Dentistry. Dr. Ayas is nothing short of GREAT ! The check-in was easy and the ladies at the front desk were personable, very kind and professional. Dr. Ayas’ assistants were also very kind and knowledgeable. I had a dentist for about 30 years and when he retired I was lost. I tried a couple other dentists. The first one was just ok. They took care of my need but I just did not feel comfortable. The office was setup almost like an assembly line. I was not in a room by myself. I figured I’d be moving on. Luckily I didn’t really need anything other than a cleaning. The second dentist was a painful nightmare. I needed a crown and the pain I went through to get it was horrible. The dentist gave me the novocaine, laid down the needle and picked up the drill. No time for the novocaine to take effect. YIKES and OUCH. Long story short, I KNEW I would not be going back there. I suddenly became afraid to go to the dentist and several years went by before I found Relaxed Dentistry and Dr. Ayas. I made sure everyone knew I was a sissy and scared ! I have had 3 visits now and all were gentle and painless. Really folks….100% pain free. Two visits were for deep-cleaning and this last visit was for a crown. Dr. Ayas put a topical on my gum before the novocaine so it would not cause pain. Dr. Ayas explained everything he was doing and made frequent checks to make sure I was doing OK. I have found a home for my dental needs ! Thanks to everyone @ Relaxed Dentistry. I highly recommend Relaxed Dentistry. Oh..and one more thing...Nobody will lecture you if you havent seen a dentist on a regular schedule. They just want to help you keep your smile. This review is a little long but when you are scared like I was or just searching for a forever dentist, you want details.

I hardly ever write reviews but I feel compelled to write this one. Going to the dentist has never been my favorite activity, however, Dr. Ayas and his staff sure knows how to make a patient feel at ease. The Centreville office is conveniently located near interstate 66 and is very easy to get to. The building is well maintained and is in a safe comfortable location. The office itself has a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The colors and the soft tunes played relax the patient the second they walk in the office. Once you reach the front desk you are greeted by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Unlike many large dental practices, this one feels like personalized dentistry, a patient is seen on time, and their concerns are addressed with professionalism and honesty. Dr. Ayas is one of the best dentists I have ever seen in my life, and I have seen quite a few. His interactions with patients, not just me, are very polite and very "relaxed" as the name of the practice implies. He is not a commercial dentist trying to make the most amount of money from his patients; he honestly assesses the situations and provides you with realistic options. He works like an artist, keeping the patients comfort in mind with a variety of sedation choices, he crafts the most fitting and undetectable dental work (crowns or implants). He stands behind his work and accepts many insurance options (we have more than one in our family). I recommend this practice without any reservations, try them and you will not see another dentist again as long as you live in this area. They have two offices; we chose the Centerville one for convenience.

Dr. Ayas is unquestionably the finest dentist I have met. He is skilled and conscientious, and his character and integrity are outstanding. Gentle always, thoughtful and truly a loving people person. A visit always leaves me with more than healthier teeth. He treats and "treats" the whole person. Our family have been patients of Dr. Ayas for over 3 years and we believe he is, literally, unique in the service and care he provides. Dr. Ayas offers personalized dental care at reasonable rates in a caring, supportive atmosphere. We have never been kept waiting more than 5 mins, never received a "sales job" for expensive procedures, never felt like just another patient being hurried through a busy professional service. Dr. Ayas (and his staff ) genuinely care about their patients. He will call after a procedure to check up that youre doing okay and not in undue pain, suggest a specialist if he feels they could do it better, discuss options in dental care giving sound, practical advice about cost, reliability, and necessity. He is available on the weekends for emergencies. Even though he always gives me all the time I need (and Im sure he treats all his patients like this!). His staff know you by name and provide a welcoming family atmosphere. They bend over backwards to help with insurance, billing and appointments when you want them. The hygienist is excellent. We recommend Dr. Ayas without reservation.

Went for a consultation to get pricing in 12/09 and was assured when I made my appointment that everything would be free of charge. After the dentist saw the x-rays I brought with me, he said he needed to take his own x-rays. He assured me that they would also be free of charge as part of the consultation, that he just needed a better view than the image I brought from my regular dentist. Left the appointment deciding that the sedation route was too expensive and I wouldnt go back. Then, about 2 weeks later, I received a letter from my dental insurer that their office had tried to bill them for the appointment and x-rays. Of course it was denied because my annual x-rays had already been taken by my regular dentist. Then, about a month later, I received a bill from Relaxed Dentistry for everything my insurance hadnt covered. I called the office and they said there must have been a computer mistake and that they would remove the balance. Now its 3/10, and I just received another bill from them, stating that I still have an outstanding balance for an appointment and x-rays. Called again, and they had no excuse this time, but said that if the doctor remembered me, and remembered saying there would be no charge for the x-rays, she would remove the balance. Are you kidding me? Just make sure you get everything in writing if you decide to go to Relaxed Dentistry.

It is quite difficult to start with what I like about Relaxed Dentistry because the entire experience is just so unbelievable. To put it simply, from start to finish and everything between, makes my experience a pleasant one. Almost a year ago I knew that I had to endure a long process and that it was not going to be a cheap process. So when my family dentist stated that they used a partner clinic to perform implants, I decided that I would make the decision on who I wanted to perform this very long, year process. I used various means to come up with three dental clinics and after completing two assessments, Relaxed Dentistry was the third and final visit. The minute I open the door it was like a sign of relief. The staff at the front desk is always professional and very helpful and much appreciated. I am just completely satisfied with Dr. Alhrashis work. He is very thoughtful and an attention to detail type person. I guess in this line of work, it goes without saying however, I can never be more happier than choosing Dr. Alhrashis and Relaxed Dentistry to take me through this long process. I also enjoy the conversations other than dentistry and his interest that he takes with my dental health and all the other topics.
