Fantastic dental office. Going to the dentist used to cause me a lot of anxiety, and I had trouble taking x-rays and having any work done on my back teeth because I had a strong gag reflex. Bristow Dental reduces the anxiety before you even get in the dentist chair by having a waiting room with comfortable seating and no scare-tactic posters or video loops about gum disease or other dental maladies. It makes it much easier to try to relax before getting called back. Once youre in the chair, each patient (I believe) has a television with basic cable that you can watch or just channel surf to further take your mind off your fears while you wait for the hygienist or dentist. They did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable while taking x-rays, whether it was having one nurse in the room holding the bite-wing and another nurse pressing the button so it would go quicker, or letting me put the bite-wing in my mouth myself so that I would have more control over the situation. In both instances taking x-rays went much smoother than it had before I started visiting this dentist. The entire staff is pleasant to talk to and interact with, and this makes the whole appointment more pleasant and less anxiety inducing. Everyone from Dr. Evelyn, to the hygienists, to the nurses make sure you are comfortable and are sensitive to any discomfort you might have the whole time. Highly recommended.

Best Dental appointment ever--I am a new patient and they treated me like I was a family member. I have been going to the same dentist for about 25 years and was sort of afraid to change dentist but my insurance has changed and my old dentist did not take my new insurance. Sort of glad it happened because this dental office has more up to date equipment and everybody was so pleasant and made me feel so comfortable.

I have had a lot of dental work done, and have tried several dentists in the northern VA area. I recently found Dr. Evelyn, and I am so happy with her! She is honest, trustworthy, professional, and she does good work for a reasonable price. She seems to take a minimally-invasive approach, which I appreciate very much. I highly reccomend this dentist!

Dr. Evelyn is the most honest trustworthy dentist I have ever had. She is sincere and very friendly, does not charge for unwanted necessities like most practices. She does not have crazy office policies. My whole family loves her including my small kids. Thanks for opening up your practice right here in Bristow!
