I am not one to right bad reviews however....Never ever in my life have I had such an a wful expierence at the doctor. As someone who works in healthcare, I have never met a more unprofessional and just down right rude doctor. I came in looking for a new PCP and left on the verge of tears. I came in for several reasons, one of which was something he doesnt treat, but only manages. I misunderstood what it said on his website. I completely understand that... and it was my fault for thinking otherwise. However, the way he carried his message on the matter was so rude, demeaning, and UNPROFESSIONAL. He entered the room with no hand shake, no smile, and began to quite literally scold me! At that point he left the room without even looking at me, checking my lung sounds, heart, looking at my eyes, reflexes.. just a basic assessment that most doctors will do upon meeting a new patient. I suspected that I have a thyroid issue, after telling him this he at no point asked me what my symptoms were, nor did he even palpate my thyroid gland to see if it was enlarged. Which it is, and My heart had also been racing for days. NOTHING. He sent me to have blood work done and then suggested I come back for a physical??? It was clear he was angry, and he just moved on to the next patient. Essentially I waited almost 2 hours to be scolded for less than 5 minutes and then I was sent on my way. Cant wait to see the bill they send to my insurance. I would suggest that anyone with decent insurance avoid this place at all costs. I will never pay to be treated in such a way. This doctor is completely unprofessional and rude. I left that office with such a bad taste in my mouth.

I dont know why some people are giving bad reviews. I also work in healthcare related field and I understand how clinics work and how hard it is to manage a clinic. I have been a patient of Dr. Mehra for 15 years. I love everything about the office, the staff are very hardworking, friendly and professional at the same time. They are always working for every second. They are quick too, the average time from check in to check out is about 30 mins on a slow day to 45 mins on a busy day. I think some people complained about long wait time just because they had to do some other tests that were no scheduled before hand. Dr. Mehra is one of the most dedicated family physicians I have known. He has been working 6 days a week for the past 30 years, you can imagine how experienced he is with family practice. He knows what is best for you. One time I came to the clinic for what i thought was migraine but he suspected something and insisted I had some test done. The result was I had a major blockage in my blood vessel. Thanks to him, I avoided a possible stroke. Dr. Mehra is experienced in minor surgery procedures, and his office can carry out all the tests just like a cardiologists clinic. Trust me, the staff are very nice, I know some patients are sick and coming to the office in an already bad mood, expecting to be pampered. If you respect them, they will respect you too. They care.

I tried out Chantilly Family Practice with hopes of finding a good doctor. I took off from work (I dont have sick leave) and arrived to the family practice center 15 minutes early. I waited over an hour to be called and then they left me in an exam room for 25 minutes before I walked out and asked how much longer it would be. They replied that there were still three people in front of me. So I left not the happiest person in the world to say lightly. I am usually the most patient person I know and would have been fine if the wait was only an hour. So this is saying something. Everyone there was rude, the waiting area was crowded and dirty, and the wait was absurd. If you are okay with waiting 2 hours to see a doctor, then this place is for you. If you are a reasonable human being, do not go here.

I will not ever ever go back to this place. I live next door and I wont go there again. You will have to wait and wait and when the doctor sees you he is extremely rude and dis-respectable to his patient(at least to words me). I dont wish to judge me as a racist but that is the feeling I got from this Indian doctor. He will not event spend 5 minutes with you to know what you want to talk about or medical issues you may have. After you pay all the money insurance co-pay etc be ready to receive another bill in the mail. What bill you may ask no one knows event they(receptionist) dont know. You just have to pay it or fight them and tell them you already paid the same day. This doctor is the rudest I have ever dealt with. Dont go to this place.shop around.

Ive been seeing Dr. Mehra for over 13 years. He is always straightforward with me and when I have a need for a specialist, he refers me without hesitation. Dr. Mehra has treated me for a number of illnesses and when I had a life-threatening illness that put me in the hospital, his associate took care of me in the hospital until I was released. Over the years Ive watched his office go from all paper to electronic tablets. His administrative staff have treated me well and always take care of me when I come in for an appointment. Even though I no longer work in Chantilly, I still keep Dr. Mehra as my primary physician and would recommend his services to others.

This doctor was all about brevity. He had one foot out the door the entire time he was in the office. He never even sat down! After spending less than 5 minutes in the room, I wondered why I had ever chosen this doctor, thus I vowed I would rate this experience to better inform others. He also appeared to not care about anything I had to say and was unprofessional when I discussed medical issues that I had. He merely referred me to a specialist on three separate issues and told me that if I wanted help that I should come back another day for bloodwork so he could "properly diagnose the isssue."

Been going there for over 10 years and will never go there again due to their unethical and shady business practices. For a simple ear issue, Dr. Mehra knowingly ran all kinds of unnecessary and unjustified heart tests (EKG, holter, stress test) at their facility to make money out of me and sent me to unnecessary brain MRIs and CT Scans just so that I go back there for follow ups. They do this to make up for other patients who stopped visiting them. Costed me $2,500 out of pocket after insurance coverage. Its not just me, but heard this from other physicians.

Ive been going to this doctor for several years now and each visit is worse than the last. Im allergic to amoxicillin, told Dr. Mehra of my allergy and had him sent over my prescription. When I got to the pharmacy, the pharmacist informed me the medicine had penicillin and that I should not risk an allergic reaction. I cant believe the pharmacist, not my doctor, caught that. I also spent nearly an hour waiting for a consultation that lasted at most five minutes. Staff and doctors less than friendly
