I am certainly not a stranger to Chiropractic care. I have been under care for many years, the past 7 years being with Dr. Mark. I have worked for a chiropracter before so I really have high expectations in my chiropractic care. New to the area 7 years ago I became very fortunate to choose Dr. Mark as my new Chiropracter. He and his staff have never dissappointed my expectations. They all go above and beyond to give the very best personal care to each patient. I recently was involved in an auto accident, not extremely serious but enough to have a pain and not be able to function on my normal daily basis. Thanks to Dr. Mark, he was able to reduce my pain and speed up the healing process of my body through therapy and adjusting,without medication, to get my body back into the proper alignment. I truly have been fortunate to find the best chiropracter for me. He has helped to improve the quality of my life and not just treat symptoms. Kudos and much thanks to Dr. Mark and his staff for helping me so much in these past 7 years.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Mark Gutekunst since 2006. He is very dedicated about his work. He has treated my husband for sciatia and myself for neck and shoulder pain. He will work with you until you are out of pain and will strive to keep you pain free. Dr. Mark will work with you on nutrition and weight loss with an easy to follow plan. His plan will work for anyone, if you stick to it. I have lost almost 40 lbs. since February 2013. On his plan, I get plenty of food, sometimes its difficult to eat it all. I do not go hungry. I have plenty of good, healthy foods and plenty of energy. And, I do not miss anything. Its much easier to loose weight with Dr. Mark in your corner, because he gives you a plan, and encourages you on the way. I recommend his plan to anyone wishing to change their bad eating habits for good. You will feel much better when you do and your body will be healthier. Dr. Mark and his excellent and friendly staff are there to help you. Visit him.

Chesapeake Wellness Center is a godsend. Not only is Dr. Mark the best chiropractor, they have the friendliest staff. They work with every schedule and also work with you on payment plans. My husband started about 8 months ago. He had neck and back issues. At one point he could barely walk. He couldnt do his job, which involved standing his entire shift. After starting with Dr. Mark, everything changed for the better. He could walk better, went back to work and he felt better too. In June I started. Ive had back issues for years. After a few visits I started feeling better too. With minor changes to my diet, I lost some weight and lowered my blood pressure. Dr. Mark gave suggested the changes that I needed to help myself. Now, both our daughters go there as well. Its a family affair. I recommend anyone who has back issues, leg pain, feet pain, neck pain to call and make an appointment with Dr. Mark. You will be pleased!!!!

Dr. Mark has helped my Husband, son, daughter and I. I am beyond grateful for the relief he has given my son who is 10 years old. Ever since my son has been able to walk he would complain of back pain. His regular doctors told us he would grow out of it, or offer up a prescription for the pain. But they never did anything to find or fix what was truly causing the pain. If we went for hikes or just a simple walk around the block he would hunch over and complain his back hurt. After a couple of adjustments from Dr. Mark my son is now pain free. Now he is more than happy to walk with us, and instead of complaining about his back he is busy exploring his environment. Thank you Dr Mark!!

Excellent care can be found here! My daughter referred me to Dr. Mark about 3 years ago. I had been seeing another chiropractor in the area but was still not having very much relief for back, neck and vertigo problems. Dr. Marks care has helped me so much. My vertigo is virtually non-existent and when I need a "tune-up" for my back and neck, I dont hesitate to give the office a call. Friends think it sounds funny when I say that I am going for an adjustment, but what they really dont know is how it helps the entire body, not just what is worked on. Dr. Marks staff is fantastic! And if you ever have time for a therapeutic massage, this is the place to get it.

I have known / been going to Dr. Mark for about 10 years. My experience has always been awesome: Dr. Marks skillful adjustments, Michelles gentle - healing touch in physiotherapy treatment, and Pat working me in to be seen with my sometimes busy schedule. A couple years ago I had an incapacitating sciatica. Dr. Mark and Michelle (PTA) provided adjustments and intensive physiotherapy treatments that got me back on my feet and functional. If you are looking for a Chiropractor, Dr. Mark and his staff is where you need to be!

Dr. Mark and his staff are excellent. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Mark has been my Chiropractor for years. Before I started getting adjustments from him I could not walk a half hour without significant pain in my lower back. I also had headaches that shot from the back of my head to the top. Well the headaches stopped after the first adjustment. When I started with Dr. Mark I had to have 3 adjustments each week. Now I go when I need just a tune-up. Thanks Dr. Mark. Val

I went from dealing with daily pain to being able to fully participate in life again. After a year and a half of spine doctors and physical therapy a friend referred me to Chesapeake Wellness Center. My insurance wouldnt pay so we worked out a plan and it was worth every penny! I noticed a big difference after the first few adjustments and am now on a maintenance schedule. Everyone in the office is wonderful and caring, and if you need a massage they have that too. Highly recommend.

Fantastic! I suffered from shoulder pain for YEARS! My doctor prescribed physical therapy twice--to no avail. The pain stayed. My friend recommended Dr. Mark and within three months I have a larger range of motion than Ive had for years and no pain!! What more could one ask. Also, I want to add how welcome I feel when I arrive at the office. His office manager, Kathleen, is knowledgeable and professional as well as his technician Michelle. They are both a pleasure to work with.

I was skeptical as to if anyone would be able to help my chronic pain and am now extremely happy that I gave Chesapeake Wellness Center a try. Dr. Mark Gutekunst came up with a plan of therapy that has my body feeling better than it has in years. I now have shoe inserts since my arches fell years ago, but he was the only doctor to even check for this. His staff is friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I am very fortunate to be a patient here!
