I saw Dr. Avery for about 7 years. She was constantly losing my blood test results, claiming that I hadnt had them done, THEN blaming her office staff for not properly tagging them in the files. She harped on my weight regularly, blaming it for any tiredness and joint pain I had, and dismissed my hormone numbers as being in the normal range despite my issues. I finally switched to another doctor two years ago after one of my rotator cuffs completely self destructed for no apparent reason. Turns out I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. And probably Hypothyroidism (were still looking at that one), and and unspecified (at present) Connective Tissue Disorder. Shes fine if you dont have any REAL issues. If you do, god help you, because you need to find a better doctor.

I havent visited Dr. Averys new office since she switched from Dominion, but I can say its close to impossible to get anyone on the phone at her new practice. When you choose "receptionist", or "refill a prescription (medical assistant)", the line 9 times out of 10 rings and goes straight to voicemail. Then it takes over a day to get called back. This is terrible when you need information thats time sensitive, like I did.
