This medical center is extremely unreliable and full of incompetence. I was going to arrive a few minutes early for my appointment because otherwise I knew that I would be forced to wait the usual couple of hours to be seen. I received a call informing me that I no longer had an appointment that day because the nurse practitioner would not be coming in. I should add that I have only seen my physician on one occasion and have been forced to see the nurse practitioner the other few times that I have been ill. This was a major inconvenience because I was going out of town and would not be available at any other time after this week, and the clinic claimed to have no other person who could see me for a simple physical that day. I will be switching to another clinic immediately, even though this means that I will have to drive all the way to Abingdon.

DONT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!! YOU WILL GET BETTER SERVICE AT THE VET HOSPITAL THAN YOU WILL AT CVMC. MY HUSBAND WAS IN A MVA AND HAD AN UNSTABLE SPINE. THEY DISCHARGED HIM HOME WITH NOTHING. BROTHER IN LAW WAS IN THE SAME MVA, HIS BP WAS 190/102 AND THEY DISCHARGED HIM HOME. BOTH WERE INJURED FROM THE WRECK AND NEITHER WERE KEPT FOR OBSERVATION.... IF YOU WANT TO PRESERVE YOUR LIFE... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...BRISTOL JOHNSON CITY...WHEREVER YOU CAN GET TO... IF YOU NEED SERIOUS HELP GO TO UVA, BOWMAN GREY OR DUKE... THOSE ARE ALL WITHIN A 3-4 HOUR DRIVING DISTANCE... SAVE YOUR LIFE AND YOUR LOVED ONES LIVES!!!

Ive had a bad experience every time Ive had to deal with this hospital. And I know several others who wont go here because of previous bad experiences. I used to live 5 minutes from this hospital and we would drive over a hour to go to Abingdon hospital. In the case of an emergency, it would still be better to make the drive to Abingdon.

This is the worst hospital ever. They let my mother in law sit in a room wit her colostomy bag busted and she had stool all over there self and they waited for about and hour before they even tried to do anything g I had to call first so I would never go to this hospital
