Dr. Rai has the hands of a micro-sculpture. He is focused on each task, explains each process, teaches and encourages his dental assistants, constantly assures that you are comfortable and understand each procedure, and somehow has time to be social and show his interest in you and others. In my most recent visit, I had a broken upper front root canal. He returned my call on Saturday (office closed on weekends). He advised on temporary cement issues and called back on Sunday to see how I was. Then he offered to see me on Monday at 8:45a.m. He immediately started working on me the moment I arrived at his office. He put a temporary cap on and fixed a minor cavity that was exposed during the procedure. He was conscious about my time and arranged for me to visit a very high tech dental laboratory that took pictures and received impressions of my teeth. They have 3D- computer systems for making perfect caps that will fit your mouth. The pictures were taken to perfectly match the color of my teeth! Dr. Rai is an outstanding person and an excellent dentist. My family and I consider him and his staff as our friends. Thats why we drive from Springfield, VA to see them in Stafford, VA.

My wife visited this office and absolutely loved the doctor and the staff. She made me an appointment and after having visited them 3 times now, I completely agree. By far, the kindest and most welcoming staff I have witnessed in any office of any profession. You are greeted by name when entering and every member of the staff not only seems to recognize you but, also greets you when you see them in the office (even if they dont have any professional interaction with you on that particular visit). Scheduling is on point and text reminders/confirmations for appointments are very simple and helpful. Doctor Rai (along with the rest of the staff) is very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain everything that needs explaining. Everyone always makes themselves available to answer questions of any kind and they encourage you to contact them with any questions or issues. I could not recommend this Dentistry office more highly.

Ive been a patient with Dr. Rai for many years. Like most people I hate going to the dentist. Going to Family Dentistry for me is always .... fun! Yes I still get poked and jabbed and say OW a lot, the people there and the care I receive are why I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a great dentist. All the office folks, assistants and my favorite dental hygienist are like family to me. Every visit is an opportunity to catch up on each others lives! My new insurance isnt all that great. And I could move to someone in their network. But Ill never do that because of the relationship and excellent care I receive at Family Dentistry.

Rai Family Dentistry is one of the best family dentist Ive been to in a long while. The staff is wonderful, they make you feel as if they have known you forever. Dr. Rai is amazing. I needed a crown on one of my front teeth. I was skeptical because this was my first visit. Dr. Rai gave me his opinion about my situation and than gave me a few days to think it over before I made the decision. Well long story short, I have a brand new tooth that look so natural, and Im satisfied with the decision Ive made. No one can tell I have a crown. Thank you so much Dr Rai, you are the best.

Excellent experience. Dr. Rai, Hygienist Elizabeth and the staff are professionals that take the horror out of going to the dental office. Usually I fear dental office visits like many people, but this was not the case here. Dr. Rai was very thorough and made me feel confident about my treatment. Elizabeth is funny and always makes me laugh and even makes the most dreaded moments seem enjoyable. I dont normally enjoy going to the dentist, but Dr. Rai and his staff have made going to the dentist painless and pleasant. Thanks!

DrRai & his entire staff are amazing. I highly recommend them.
