CHKD Suffolk Dr Leverone called my child a drama queen in front if her today. Real nice. Trinity has gastro intestinal issues and bad allergies, all of which she is on medicines for. I took her in for a red throat and constant cough to make sure it wasnt anything else like strep. She did not test positive. However, needless to say, we will not be back to that facility. If you are in the Virginia Beach area, the best Dr in town is Dr Chou at the NowCare on Independence. Wish we were closer. I still try to go there when possible. I may have to start making the drive anyway since CHKD doctors are so rude... in front of children. If my child wasnt already prescribed medicine for the issues she has, then I would consider the drama issue more. If shes a drama queen, then why are they drugging my kid? I could have gone elsewhere and I will in the future. Doctors should never speak like that and belittle children right in front of them.

Have been going to Suffolk Pediatrics for several years. The providers are excellent but trying to get an appointment or any help from the office staff is like pulling teeth. We have seen several providers at Suffolk Peds over the years as they come and go, but today I was asked to sign a waiver stating I would pay if there was any problem with the insurance coverage ($206 charge) since our provider was no longer there. They could have mentioned this when we made the appointment, but instead they waited until we showed for the appointment and wanted a waiver signed. I did not have enough confidence that the office staff could file the paper work properly so we left. I will request another provider, but it will not be at Suffolk Pediatrics because of their inept office staff.

As someone who has been going to Suffolk pediatrics since I was a very small child, I love it here! Im very close with everyone! They do their best to help every person, and its just a great and loving place! Im athletic and get hurt a lot and theyve always been able to get me right! Im soooo thankful for the great doctors, nurses, coders, front desk, and billing people! (aka everyone!) I love everyone who works there and I hope they know their work is very much appreciated!!!

We have been coming here since moving to Suffolk in 2009. All 3 of my kids are seen here and I am happy with the care that they receive. When we feel that the kids need to be seen we call them in the morning and we are usually able to get an appointment later that day.
