Last year I went there. The first visit, they got my RX wrong. I went again, and it was still wrong. Im extremely picky about my vision, if it isnt perfect or near perfect, I want it to be right. While at the 2nd visit, I asked about regular plastic (CR-39 lenses). I have a disability (autism) that requires me to have either CR-39 lenses or Trivex lenses due to their vastly superior properties which allow me to see without too much chromatic aberration. Because I was 17, I was denied CR-39 and they didnt recommend Trivex to me (I didnt know of trivex at the time) I require either CR-39 or Trivex because polycarbonate lenses give me headaches. Even after my 2nd visit, as I mentioned earlier, the RX was too weak. I wrote a bad review of them(mostly regarding customer service), but took it off deciding I would give them another chance. So I go a 3rd time, Im in the the exam room, and Dr. Seim comes in. He tells me, in a very rude voice "we dont appreciate derogatory remarks about our business and we dont appreciate it!" And he talks to me in this voice like Im some idiot "And you posted it in your name!" He then told me they wont be having me as a customer anymore. Gave me a last eye exam, and gave me my records. Atlantic Eyecare, when a customer writes a review regarding poor customer service, takes it down after a few days, and comes back, how does it make sense to treat that customer like theyre trash when they decide to give you another chance? Its funny cause I was ready to order trivex lenses from yall, something that would cost an extra $80!! Do not go to Atlantic Eye care. They are unwilling to work with customers with disabilities and refuse to right the wrongs they do. Instead, if you critisize them, they simply refuse service to you. Never in my life have I been treated so badly as a customer. I dont feel the least bit bad about writing that review. I ordered a pair of glasses online and I now know so much about my eyes now. I know about diopters and all of that. I had to since Atlantic Eye Care doesnt know how to treat a customer.

Only place Ive ever been to where they monitor all aspects of your vision, every time. Great about getting their patients back in a timely order( no less than 5 minuets after appointment time.) Theres no pressure about buying your frames or lenses with them like other offices, and if you have frames and only want lenses theyll work with you and try to find the most suitable lenses. I cant rave enough about them. Great environment, great staff. Will never visit a mall or any other mediocre Optometrist again.

I cant help but respond to the negative reviews I read. An intelligent person understands everyones situation is different. My husband and I have been treated with utmost respect . My husband has had his glasses adjusted many times and its no problem. My appointments are lengthy , for I have glaucoma and there is a battery of tests. They cant help that. I want to add my glaucoma is under perfect control which is great for this is a progressive disease.

My family and I have been using Atlantic Eyecare for many years. They have always been very professional and polite. I even went to another OD once trying to save a dollar only to find I did not experience the same satisfaction that Dr Seim and his staff gives. Ive gone to Atlantic Eye Care for over 15 years and they have always taken care of me and been wonderful. Even when I moved a few hours away, I came back just to have my eye appointments.
