My entire family had been going to this Doctor for years and most times we were happy with his care. However, my wife had started to complain that the Office did not call with the results of Lab work on more than one occasion. Then, I had an appointment to see the Doctor on Jan 7th 2014. Beside my normal checkup, I was complaining about how difficult it has become to get prescriptions filled when most of these meds I was going to have to take for the rest of my life and how I was ready to stop taking the prescribed medicine. The doctor suggested that I try a mail order co. that he has heard takes care of their patients. After I left I took the Doctors advice, which was the start of my one month nightmare with the online company and my doctor. During the end of the month after 10 phone calls to the online pharmacy and the Doctors office I finally found out from a staff member that the company he recommended is horrible and worse than any other pharmacy the only good thing about that co. is that it is cheaper. Shortly after that call I realized I was once again running out of my meds and called to talk to the doctor about the problems I was having and the office Manager told me If I want to talk to the Doctor I would have to make an appointment and pay.......that was the day I switched doctors....P.S. I called twice on the Doctors Pager to make sure that it was the doctors policy not to talk to his patients unless you pay him...That being said, he never returned my calls......... Decide for yourself if you want a doctor like this.

Something fishy about this-you tell me... Facts:To make an appointment you have to do lab work the week before and pay for the visit-well my colleague said she has never paid for labs with the same insurance. After the labs you MUST make another appointment for the following week just to sit there and have them tell you the results and you pay for another office vistit. They dont answer the phone and don call back the first time you leave a message. If you need refills or have other appointment and pay for another visit. They also dont accept pharmacy request for refills when needed. The last time I was there a gentleman was very angry because he brought his son in to have a physical form signed and they charged him a visit. He said he wasnt going to pay for the visit since all they did was sign a form. I have had many physicians, due to the nature of my job and relocations and never ever have I come across anything like this. They are no longer the providers of my healthcare. This is family practice, not sure why dentist shows up under their name on this page.

I concur with all of the poor reviews listed here. I dealt with several instances of incorrect and questionable billing practices. They truly will find any reason to make you pay some sort of fee. Be it scheduling you multiple appointments for the same physical, charge you a visit just to have a signature, you name it, they will attempt to charge you! Most recently it seems word is getting out and they are now a revolving door for medical professionals. Their staff seems to be ever changing. Yet again adding to the incredibly poor service by not having a normal staff. I highly urge you to pass this place up and keep on looking for another Family Practice. I also notice that this company has likely paid to have previous poor reviews removed. I know for a fact there were far more than the 4 reviews showing currently. I myself left a review 2 years ago and none of the roughly 13 poor reviews are anywhere to be found now.

The nurse practitioners in this Office are the only saving grace. Front office is rude. Have left messages and never received a return call. Called asking for a routine annual visit as I had in years past, and received no return call and no appointment. Because of problems resulting from cancer, I had to move treatment of one issue to a specialist. Coastal had been treating the issue as my primary, but when asked to do the bloodwork the endocrinologist had requested, Coastal refused. Im sorry. Mistreatment of a cancer patient is sickening and unforgivable. Theres no excuse.

My experience with this practice was, to say the least, terrible. Its all about the money here folks. unethical billing and charges.
