I have used National Optomy for several years. I have to totally and 100% agree with "A Google User" because I too, have always been asked to wait, that the Dr. Is behind. Ive always waited between 20-30 minutes. Its very aggravating. "AGU" is absolutely correct when they say if I were late theyd cancel my appt. and charge me for the appt!!! To me thats being two-faced and hypocritical!! Under these circumstances Im looking for other places to go. Plus I bought expensive frames that I liked and they dont allow us to bring them in and NATL Optometry doesnt allow us to bring them Im in for them to put lens in those frames!! Well Im here to say that if they feel that way Im not going back to them anymore!!!!!! So Im here to corroborate what "A Google User" says is correct!!! I always get what I owe and was always told I had to pay my final amount in full. Never allowed payments. When that happens I go without groceries until the next paycheck. So where is it in all of this that "they work with us for payments"? Its all in their BULLSH*t lies and advertisements!! Businesses no longer care about people anymore. Its all about the almighty buck!! Its such a shame what its come to. Sad, really....

Excessively poor professionalism and service. After I made a comment to the technician about the odd changes in the glasses ordered, it was discovered that Dr. Collins missed my (small) stigmatism, admitted she did not read my medical chart (have been a patient only at this practice since 2008) and made assumptions about my medical care based on my appearance and age. Dr. Collins made most of her wild guesses based on the incorrect information taken by the first technician taking my entry information. While my eyes only require a small prescription, I would assume any physician would read their patients chart and be professional enough to not make assumptions based on my age. The fitting technicians are fabulous and extremely personable.

For the 2rd yr in a row...made my yrly appt. to have my eyes checked for contacts. Those 2 appts. and all other appts., the receptionist and doc were atleast 20 min. late. No kidding. The joke inside the Walmart at the Eye center where they sale glasses is "they are always" late. Well today, same thing. Had a 9;30 am appt., doc shows up at 9:50 with out a key....finally at 10am I leave b/c door is locked, the receptionist is MIA and once again, this is a "mickey-mouse" practice. No ethics or concern for those who take off work to come. They even confirmed with me yesterday. Oh had I been the one late....they would have cancelled me or billed me. Dont waste your time here!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Ive been a customer for National Optometry for about 4 years. At this specific location customer service is chaotic! Unorganized and stressed out workers. Twice I was told to come back and pay the remaining balance, I always come back and end up paying almost double the amount than what I was told. When I mentioned that I will never come back here, I was told "Thats fine!". Well I bet National Optometry will not think its FINE that they are losing business in this economy because of poor customer service.

I brought my daughter in for an eye exam 2 weeks ago. Everyone was really nice from the receptionist to the doctor. The doctor explained everything to me. My daughter was told she needed glasses. She picked out what she wanted and we were told that it was going to take a week to 10 days to get them back. I got the call 4 days later they were in. Very impressed and I will definitely be giving them our service again.

I recieved my new glasses from here the service was great. They checked my insurance and looked up all the pricing for me. They made it very simple for me to find glasses. My glasses came in pretty quick and I could see great out of them! I will be back for sure for my next pair of glasses.

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I have called several times in regards to purchasing contacts and glasses, RX questions, and what my insurance covers. They have always been helpful. National optemetry is a great example of what customer service should be.
