What a surprising gem this practice is. Ive seen nothing like it at the two other eye docs Ive been to in the past few years, including a leading area ophthalmologist. State of the art eye imaging technology enables the doctors at Owens Optometrics to provide an unusually thorough examination. And the doctor I saw took a lot of time with me, showing me computer images of the insides of my eyes, explaining my narrow angles, the risks and treatment options, and then directing me to an ophthalmologist who could perform a quick procedure to correct it. This practice is like fine dining compared to the junky fast food chains of the optometry biz. And they took my insurance!

Went to the new venue and was very impressed. The girls up front are very friendly and courteous. Was easy to get an appointment. The wait time was about 2 minutes!! In the back, it continued to impress me. Very clean, the girls are very professional and the wait time in the room was again very short. Dr. Strybos came in and it felt like a family reunion. He was pleasant, very informative, and I left with the confidense that my eyes would see me through another year ..LOL! I would, and do, recommend Owens Optical to family and friends!

I do not usually leave a 5-star review, but this one has merit. Owens Optometrics is a great practice. You are made to feel welcome from the moment of your arrival to the point of departure. My appt. was with Dr. Strybos, who was very personable and knowledgeable. He took time to explain the process, and answered all my questions. And April was determined to fit me with a great pair of glasses. I believe she may have succeeded. :o) If you are looking for an optometric practice that cares about their patients, this is the place.

If you dont have an eye dr to go to or even if you do, and you want a cool and fun place to go, try Owens Optometrics. They are all very good at what they do. They are very knowledgeable and professional and they take good care of you. You know that can trust them. But you also will have fun and enjoy your time there. How often can you say you enjoyed your Dr visit? When you leave you will know youve been to the best and youve had fun. Try them. Youll be glad you did. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Do not go here if you need eye care cheap or fast, if you want a fresh set of frames and lenses expect to pay 400-500$ and then wait about a month. They seem to be stuck in the last century
