Ive been taking my four dogs to Apple Valley Animal Hospital since about 2009 or 2010 and theres almost no where else Im willing to go. Two of my dogs are high-risk for surgical procedures and so if theres any way the vet can help me avoid surgery, theyll recommend it. I trust them and more importantly, my dogs trust them. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and gentle, plus they go out of their way not to stress my anxious "old-man" when hes getting his shots. Nor have they ever tried to make me feel guilty if Im too cash-strapped to pay for a recommended procedure. In fact, they have always gone out of their way to make sure I know what all my options and I have never felt rushed through a visit. Theyve always patiently explained things until I have a clear understanding of whats going on with my dogs. I realize that might sound like a no-brainer but before I chose Apple Valley I had gone to other vets who just wanted me in and out with credit card in hand.

The vet assistant was horrible. Because its not like my dog has been an outside dog his whole life and acts like an idiot. Hes well trained and listened to every command his owner gave him. He was fine with the veterinarian, just not the assistant. She took her frustration out on my dog who was already stressed. SCREW THAT. She needs to lose her freaking job for choking my dog on the leash, 2 front legs up being dragged so hard right before she shut the door and also screaming at my dog for being scared of her. Then to treat the one who is paying for services bad? Rolling eyes? And the assistant didnt even inform the vet the main cause my dog was there. No dog likes going to the vet and now hes going to be more traumatized when we need to go back. Great job Apple Valley! HA!

We have used Apple Valley for years for our pets. When our dog came down with Cancer, they were excellent in working with us and our dog to make him comfortable and to give us options. We ultimately had to put him down. Dr. Walls was outstanding with her support and concern with this event. Her compassion was very helpful and made a difficult time very respectful for us and our dog. I highly recommend her and her staff.

We have been taking our two dogs to Apple Valley for about two years now and have been very satisfied. We had been going to another vet in town that pressured us for all kinds of additional tests, etc. Apple Valley has been very reasonable cost wise and very thorough and very caring. The other vet advised having not one but two examinations per year. We human seniors do not even have two regular examinations per year.

I took my dog to this animal clinic on a Saturday I was told there were no emergency fees for service. The staff were very welcoming and very nice. Derek niceness and sincerity lead me to trust them and believe that I would not be overcharged for services. When I came back to get my dog I was hit with a very large bill. Do not use this vet unless you would like to pay extremely high fees for your veterinary services!

Pretty impressed... Nice staff, but has the "vaccinate for everything" mentality. The handled my refusal of a non-core vaccination professionally but still, however, tried to sell me on it. They were extremely polite throughout the visit and Very efficient which I was most impressed with. I was in and out pretty quickly. I was there with my new puppy and would highly recommend them.

I wont go anywhere else. I take all my animals here. They saw me through 2 dogs with cancer and help me keep my latest healthy. Friendly people, very knowledgeable. Doctor Walls especially wants to do whats best for the animal, Ive never felt like I had to spend money due to pressure. They understand that working folks sometimes have to make that hard choice with their pets.

Been taking my animals there for years great people we had to put down one of our rabbits once they did it and didnt charge us great bunch of folks cut my dogs nails charge was affordable and they dont just cut a 16th of a inch so they can keep you coming back every week to get them cut again I cant recommend them enough

Compassionate and friendly staff. Very affordable with low pressure reasonable fees. Dr. Walls treats your animals as if they were her own. We recently had to put our older dog down after he developed cancer. The kindness of the entire staff was very comforting to me and my family. Just a great group of people.

I have a dog that is very fearful of being handled, especially by new people. However, after a few minutes alone with one of the techs he was kissing her! The staff was very friendly, professional, and the cost was very reasonable. Will definitely be returning in the future!
