Feeling dissatisfied and distressed with the follow-up care my dog received upon her initial diagnosis of mastocytoma (MCT), in Boston, MA, an area renowned for its preeminence in veterinarian care/medicine/science, I took a strong out-of-state referral which led us to the staff at Plaza Pet Clinic, in Winchester, VA, and only hoped for a chance things could improve. Plaza Pet DVM, Andrea Wartluft, reviewed our case and took us on as clients. In fewer than six months, Dr. Wartluft, along with her tech/reception team, repaired my dog and planted her firmly on a course to a full recovery. In their efforts, my confidence in veterinarian care was restored and my understanding of the science and advances in vet medicine were broadened. We entered the partnership hoping for only a chance, but came away with answers and a manageable prognosis. The Plaza Pet response to our crisis was positively 5-star. My dog, today, is healthy, active and happily here, with us.

Best ever! This is the first vets office Id ever been to in which the pets seemed calm. The aromatherapy seems to work on both the people and the patients. I live in MD and suggested that they try the same practice to keep the pets calm. I felt them roll their eyes. It seems as though theyve forgotten that people care about their pets. - Not a Plaza Pet. they truly seem to care and are not simply going through the motions. Im willing to drive an hour and a half each way to take my dog to this clinic. While I was in line to pay my bill, I talked to other customers who felt just as I did. They said that theyve never been to a better clinic. My only regret is that they dont have Sunday hours.

Plaza is the best. When my AMSTAFF Mack got to the point where his hemangiosarcoma was no longer bearable, we put him down there. I was able to stay with him and comfort him as we laid together side by side on a blanket on the floor until the very end. The staff was so wonderful and supportive, and helped me so much to bear the pain of losing my boy to that terrible canine cancer. My new pal Cloud gets his check-ups and vaccines there, and though hes an intimidating American Bulldog, they dont seem to be intimidated by him at all! I cannot recommend them more.

They are a wonderful clinic. Sometimes Great Danes are intimidating to even some vets, but beyond the initial"wow", all we receive is great care. Dr. W even came to our home to euthanize my 14 year old Dane (who hated the office anyway and just would bury her face in my lap and growl), considering her size and inability to walk. We now have two Danes, and the ability to have them seen at the same visit is so helpful. Ive recommended them to several people, and will continue to do so. They treat each pet with respect and dignity.

I have been taking my fur babies to Plaza Pet for about 15 years now. They are wonderful! Dr Wartluft is gentle and her love of animals comes through in her care. She takes the time to answer any questions I have and discuss options available. If I have an emergency they are quick to fit them into the schedule. I have always highly recommended them to everyone I know. They are affordable, caring, have a wonderful staff and great vets.

No one likes the thought of losing a loved one. I recently reached out to Emily at Pet Plaza for some guidance. My dog had been showing signs that he was nearing the end of his journey. Emily was very helpful and caring in explaining what would be right for my dog. In the end, Emily, Dr. Nightingale, and Plaza Pets helped me understand what was best for my dog.
