I had an appointment with Dr. Varanelli today. I will NEVER go back to that office. I explained to everyone on his staff and him that I am having surgery next week to have my main saliva gland removed and that I have a toothache. I was scheduled an appointment long enough to do any needed treatment. He was in the office maybe two minutes at the most. He gave me an antibiotic and told me to take it if my tooth flares up. I will not be able to have any dental treatment for at least three weeks. It is now Thursday afternoon on a holiday weekend and my surgery is scheduled for Tuesday morning. I guess I am just out of luck!!! I did not even want to give one star, but it would not let me post unless I did. My name is Karen Fink. I guess my sons information was the account that came up.

Dr. Varanelli is great! My husbands regular dentist is out of town so he saw Dr. Varanelli as an emergency. He had a crown that kept coming off and his tooth was very sore and painful. Dr. Varanelli had to adjust his bite and re-cement his crown. Dr. Varanelli explained why his tooth was sore (because the other dentist did not adjust the bite, she just kept cementing the crown 3 different times and each time the tooth got more sore). The tooth feels great and the crown has stayed on perfectly.

Very poor standards of care. The Hygiene department is sub par with the assistants doing work a Registered Dental Hygienist should be doing. The BW xrays were so over lapped, I do not know how he read them, but they were not retaken. The last two cleanings I got at this office were incomplete and I still had coffee stains when I left. Money seems to be more important than patient care. I will not return.

My wife and I love Dr. Veranellis office! His staff is top notch and Dr. Veranelli himself is very attentive and listens to your concerns and answers any questions you may have. We have been seeing him now for 2 years and couldnt ask for a better dentist.
