I am new to the area or should I say relatively new to the area and I was definitely overdue for a cleaning. I drive past Doctor Barneys office every day and always read the sign Voted Best Dentist so I decided to call and the sign is right he is the best dentist in town and I think he also has the best staff in town except for the older blonde lady upfront. I have tattoos and the blonde lady seems to have a very low opinion of people with tattoos she was not talking to me she was discussing her opinion with another person in the waiting room while I was filling out paperwork but it still made me feel uncomfortable and I almost left but decided since I was already there and already took time off from work I would at least get my teeth cleaned and just not come back. I’m glad I stayed because everyone else is great. I found out that she is only there on Monday’s so when I schedule my next appointment I will make sure that it is not on a Monday. I highly recommend Doctor Barney just don’t go on a Monday and you will have a great experience.

I first contacted Dr. Barney when I experienced strange shocking pain in my jaw. Dr. Barney discovered my bite was really bad. I was immediately guided through the process of being fitted for an appliance to assist with my jaw. I have never experienced a team such as Dr. Barneys team. Dr. Barney was compassionate to my pain and kept my wife apprised of my progress while being sincere and down to earth. Loreta reacted quickly to my pain emergencies and was able to fit me in as soon as she could. She also was extremely helpful when off-site appointments were necessary (ie. X-rays). Sonies professionalism and knowledge guided me through some painful days. She shared her own similiar experiences which helped give me hope through the process. I have since since discovered I have minor sleep apnea and Dr. Barney assisted with a sleep appliance that has enabled me to once again have restful sleep. I would rate higher than 5 stars if site enabled. Amazing team, I am blessed our paths crossed.

My children and I are covered under different insurances so my children are patients of Dr. Barneys and I see a different dentist. They difference between the 2 offices are night and day. Dr. Barneys office is very personal they only have 3 employees. Dr. Barney and Sonnie really know their stuff. I never have to question if they have my childrens best interest in mind because they do. The 2 girls up front are very helpful Loretta even helped me with my insurance and Im not even a patient. She took the time to explain my insurance to me she even printed my benefits from the internet so I could follow along and I’ll say it again I AM NOT A PATIENT and she helped me. Dr. Barney and Sonnie always help my children but I am use to that my children are their patients. My only complaints are they have very limited business hours and the other front girl Lane can be a brash and impatient she is helpful and kind but it doesnt always seem genuine.

I am very afraid of the dentist even picking up the phone to call a dentist causes me to have anxiety attacks. Lorretta is the young lady that answered the phone and she has a way to put you at ease. She has true compassion coupled with professionalism that I have never seen at any doctors office not just a dentist office. She went above and beyond to help me with my insurance and took the time to answer my questions without making me feel dumb. The compassion and professionalism continues with Sunny and Dr. Barney, I was very nervous in the chair and had to stop a couple times just to calm my nerves no one got upset with me everyone took their time and reassured me that if I wanted to stop we could. I didnt feel pressured into anything. I understand that Dr. Barney is not in my insurance group but Im willing to pay a little extra. You know the saying you get what you pay for. Quality over Quantity

Dr. Barney is a great doctor very smart but his staff is what makes him the best dentist. Thanks Loretta and Sunny for making my dental experience feel like a visit to one a friends house.
