I have 3 dogs. I used to love the place, but lately the head receptionist has really started rubbing me wrong. she is rude, and she cuts you off quickly and without thought. If you go to ask a question she litterally huffs, and gets nasty, and will put you on hold if your on the phone, or just start ignoring you if you are there in person. I understand that they are busy, BUT any more if you have a 1:00 PM appointment, you are lucky if the vet gets into that tiny room by 2:00PM...by this point your tired, your dog is tired, and your hot because those rooms dont seem to have any air conditioning in them. What makes it worse is, you can hear the staff laughing and carying on in the back, eating, or drinking or just having some great conversation with each other. (and yes, the vets are right in there with them.) Considering that when its shot time, I always spend over 200 plus dollars. I would think that considering we probably put out more than $1,000 plus per year with them that we could get better service. Im actually looking for a friendlier vets office thats not going to leave you hanging and let you know if there is an emergency if you have waited more than 15 min past your appointment time.

Dr. Truban just recently went above and beyond my expectations for our pug, our Princess, Sophie. He truly cares and that is shown through his care and dedication at each appointment. Few veterinarians take the time to make each appointment feel like their only appointment that day - Dr. Truban has always made us feel important. I cant thank him enough for his dedication and expertise. He even followed up 2 days after our appointment after reaching out to a fellow surgeon regarding our options. Words cant describe how much it meant to know he took the time to ensure Sophies best care was important to him as much as it was to us. Thank you Dr. Truban!

The Shenandoah Animal Hospital is always very gentle and caring when my family brings our pets there. We visited them a few weeks ago with our dog Gambit as usual they handled him like he was one of their own. Well continue to use them as our family vet for a long time.

Very caring, dedicated staff. I highly recommend both the Strasburg and Woodstock offices . Been using them for the past 4 years. The Strasburg Vet, Lee, is like an old country vet - friendly and easy to talk to. She takes the time to talk to you.
